The work areas were left clean. Charles explained the install and systems to me before leaving. New A/C seems to be working great. Heat hasn’t been used yet. McCrea handled the permits and product registrations. Gwyn communicated with me promptly after the install regarding both."

Nasser came to check the situation, he gave a very detailed and comprehensive overview of the situation and provided with the options I had. I decided to replace the unit, Nasser went above and beyond to find a unit delivery service but there was nothing available over the weekend so this gentleman went for unit pick up himself and finished the installation within a day from my initial call. "The crew from PolarBear was prompt, clean, and incredibly willing to work with me throughout the process to insure the entire install was done to my (admittedly high) expectations for aesthetics. Each day we worked through challenges they came across and the options they provided for how to work around them. The level of detail and pride in workmanship was apparent all the way down to the routing of lines and wiring to the outdoor units to make them as invisible and tight as possible. Since then I have had Polar Bear back to install a new 75 Gallon gas water heater for the home and will be using them in the spring to install another MiniSplit to condition a sunporch. "This place is super expensive the tech doesn't seem to know everything about AC repair, he keeps blaming others and keeps insisting that I need to replace the unit. It took him all day to figure out the wiring he messed up himself installing a new circuit board. He also kept saying that he is late for his next job. Not a place I would recommend"

"Explained everything, and showed up on a Sunday afternoon in August to replace the starter motor for the HVAC compressor. Advised me on a power booster, and I chose to have him install it, and it quieted the HVAC unit down considerably...should extend the life considerably. Very happy!"

"Everyone is very experienced at their job and knows what they are doing. This made the whole process very smooth, from interactions over the phone with Danny and the receptionist, estimates and troubleshooting with John, and day-of install with Diego. And most importantly, the actual install of the HVAC equipment was very neat, tidy, and professional. Everything is level and lines up together, seams are sealed, wiring and piping is all neatly routed. A quality install matters more than what brand you choose, and these guys do a great job. I also want to mention that they continued working hard despite how it not only poured rain the day of my install, but the power also went out and they had to work in the dark for a little while."

"The technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. The end product was excellent. The office was professional (mostly). The price seemed fair, but I would venture a guess that I could find cheaper, but I wanted a quality installation. I can confirm I found competition that was much more expensive. The only issue I had was scheduling both the quote and the work. In this case we needed both an electrician and plumbers complicating the situation. We scheduled both disciplines to quote on the same day. The electrician missed the window and had to come the next day. For the work to be performed, we again scheduled for a single day process but due to illness apparently had to reschedule for the following day. At that point, I complained to the office due to the inconvenience of taking 4 days out of the office for a 2 day job, looking for a little price reduction. The office manager I spoke to was more interested in defending their position than seeing my side. In the end he granted me a $50 online coupon, reduction yes, but I'm not sure why I wouldn't have been entitled to that regardless. Honestly, in the end I was happy and would hire again due to the quality of work, reasonable price and professionalism in general. They would have received high marks across the board if it wasn't for the scheduling issues. I hope that was just bad coincidence."
