They’re not only some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met, but also consummate professionals. They were always on time, and did quiet and clean work even in the demolition phase. Mateo was always willing to stop everything to help answer a question or explain something. When the work was finished, we were left with showroom results. I already recommended CNM to a neighbor who was happy with their decision to go with CNM too, and I would recommend them again to whoever needed a recommendation. "We got an estimate from Robert Remodeling back in March of 2021 for a complete basement renovation. At that time we also pursued additional estimates from well-known and recommended contractors. What really stood out was his being intelligent, quickly figuring out how to work with various ceiling fan brands, which can be tricky. His work was precise, careful, and incredibly efficient. He graciously fit us in at the end of a very busy day, which we truly appreciated. He stayed organized throughout the job and even left the old fans neatly packed in boxes for us to discard, which was thoughtful. "We live in a prewar coop building in Manhattan and were in need of a kitchen, living and dining room/den renovation. Because of the limitations in our building, we were not optimistic that many changes could be made that would dramatically alter the feel/function of the space. Inson Wood proved us completely wrong. With his architectural eye and his impeccable design aesthetic we (and everyone who has been here before and after) experiences our apartment as an entirely different living space. Even family members are shocked at the transformation. I think that what Inson accomplished was the product of a few significant factors. First, Inson asks you what you want and seriously considers how you live. If Inson thinks that different approaches should be considered for what you want, he provides renderings of each option so that you can easily visualize and imagine them. Ultimately, Inson respects your preferences and works with them, elevating them to a level far above what you had imagined. Inson uses the highest quality vendors (whom we NEVER would have found) and expertly guides you through choices (note: follow his recommendations!!!)- our walls would never have had dimension and our kitchen backsplash never have been so unique (two examples) if not for the artisans that Inson uses. Inson is also willing to have you be as much or as little involved in the process as you want to be. I did go with Inson to choose many pieces of furniture but realized after a certain point that his taste point made me confident in him choosing much finishing work (ex: window treatments, decorative cushions, which I love) without me. As with all design work, there are always glitches and Inson was extremely responsive and responsible for taking care of those as they came up. We are nothing less than thrilled to come home each evening and enjoy our space, which feels like a luxurious retreat perfectly tailored to us."
