"Legacy Plumbing is fantastic. I have used them periodically with great results over several years. Recently I called on a weekend to schedule someone to come out for a rather puzzling issue. The scheduler not only got me scheduled, but took the time to speak to the operations manager about the issue on Monday and then called me back to avoid me wasting money. The operations manager then talked with me for awhile about the issue, again to avoid my wasting money. I have rarely had a company show this level of professionalism and customer care. Absolutely top notch."

"The finished product was beautiful! It was done very professionally. Mike has lots of experience installing and renovating, especially in renovating bathrooms and showers. My only advice would be for the client to 1) FIRST, get a sample of the tile you want to use for your shower stall. Bring it into your bathroom and make sure it looks in THAT light the way you want it to. (At the store, the lighting can make the colors of tiles appear a bit different than they will look in your bathroom at home.) 2) Assume that renovating a bathroom and/or shower will be a major renovation! Remove virtually EVERYTHING from the room and the adjacent room(s), and what is too huge to move, cover with plastic or cloth drop cloths. Renovations, no matter how "limited" are big, often complex, usually messy/dusty jobs and it is up to the client to clear away as much furniture, clothing, art objects, etc. for the workmen as possible and to cover and protect floors, carpets, etc. Also, leave a nice, open, clear path for the workmen in your house and with access to your garage. They work quickly. They don't have time to do a lot of moving of things...that is up to you. Agree upon what is YOUR responsibility and what is theirs beforehand. The workmen are honest, prompt and professional. The results will be terrific. I also recommend using the reasonably priced "Floor and Decor" for your renovations. Again, just make sure you take home a couple of samples of tiles and/or flooring so you can see how they look in YOUR home with YOUR lighting! Mike Thompson gave me a great price on excellent work. I highly recommend Mike Thompson and "Bath Time Renovations". He is a very experienced professional."

"Horrible customer service!!! Just get the run around and then they say they do not get payment when there is proof. Ladies that are in the office are rude and do not care to update information."

"I had a great experience using Rodenbaugh's to install my new flooring. I replaced all of the old carpeting in my house with the latest vinyl flooring that mimics the look of hardwood but is water resistant and pet-friendly. From the beginning of the process (selecting the flooring and reviewing all of my options) to the actual installation of the flooring - everything was done professionally and exceeded my expectations. I would use Rodenbaugh's in the future and would also recommend them to others looking for any of the services they offer."

"I CALLED AND DESCRIBED THE PROBLEM. THE LADY FELT IT WAS PROBABLY A WATER SUPPLY VALVE. THEY DIDN'T HAVE ONE, SO SHE SAID SHE WOULD ORDER ONE. IT WAS NO COST TO ME UNLESS IT WAS THE RIGHT PART. SHE ANTICIPATED 2 DAYS, SO I MADE THE APPOINTMENT. THEY CALLED A DAY EARLY, SAYING THEY HAD RECEIVED THE PART AND THAT THEY COULD COME BY THAT DAY, IF I WANTED. I AGREED. THE TECHNICIAN ARRIVED AS AGREED, AND DETERMINED THAT THE PART WAS WHAT IT NEEDED. HE REPLACED IT WITHIN 1/2 HOUR. HE WAS PERSONABLE, AND COURTEOUS. THE FEE WAS.$200.00."

"I'm an architect w/ over 3,000 completed projects throughout the US and having moved to Fairview/TX last year, had found that most local residential contractors had been spoiled by quick-n-dirty/just-for-looks Developers. Vent Tech/Plano's quality & thoroughness of their work, however, is amongst the best & the most honest professionals I've ever retained. I was too busy w/ the move and, our previous/unscrupulous GC installed badly undersized & even sub-code vent ducts for the installation of a 48"/1,000cfm hood, just taped together. Vent Tech's Field Rep came, assessed the situation, Robert/Owner followed up w/ a very reasonable/fair quote and was able to send people almost immediately, as we've been w/o a Kitchen Hood for over a month. I was prepared for a super messy job, having to tear up the pantry wall behind & its ceiling, after which to hire a drywall/painter/etc. When Jose P & Enrique came, however, Jose, immediately suggested a different, less messy approach (w/o demolition of walls/clg), simply replacing an existing undersized rectangular duct w/ a custom/larger rectangular duct & pipes/connectors w/ 1 less 90degrees bend. Every duct connection was carefully fitted, bolted, duct taped carefully and, then, in places where needed, brushed over thoroughly w/ fiber-reinforced duct sealant Mastic (for added leak prevention). Then, they completely cleaned up after themselves. These are steps expected in commercial projects & from quality/professional contractors, but many residential subs won't take (especially around here), either under price pressure &/or greed. Cheap, most often, is just that,....CHEAP. When you want professional/quality & dependable work for reasonable/fair price, call Vent Tech."

FAQs for fridge, freezer or ice maker repair or service projects in Farmersville, TX

Most ice makers are similar in design, and some parts are interchangeable. However, if your ice maker has advanced filters or special features, it's best to use the same make and model to ensure everything works properly. Ask your appliance repair pro to check your appliance specifications to be sure.

With regular use and proper maintenance, an ice maker typically lasts about four to five years. If you keep up with tasks like changing the filters every six months, you might get up to 10 years out of your ice maker. Address any problems with your ice maker right away by calling an appliance professional to ensure you solve any issues before they escalate, helping to keep your ice maker running smoothly for longer.

Your refrigerator's age plays a big role in deciding whether to repair or replace the ice maker. If your fridge is nearing the end of its average 14-year lifespan, it might not be worth investing in expensive repairs since other parts could fail soon. Getting a diagnosis from a refrigerator repair pro can help you decide what's best.
