"After spending a year trying to get someone to remove a pile of dirt from our yard we found Jason at Jade Construction! Let me preface this by saying we had 3 out of about 20 contractors actually contact us and say they would give us a quote but never actually did and just completely ignored us. "I talked with several contractors regarding a flooding basement problem, and received a wide range of contradicting proposals from sump pumps to new interior footer drains to various exterior solutions.  I chose M&M because their proposal was straightforward, along the lines of what made the most sense to me.  M&M's price was comparable to some other drainage and landscape companies, and significantly lower than one of the older companies.  Anthony from M&M answered my questions directly, and included additional work such as grading of the property in the quoted price as well as things I'd forgotten to mention, "sure, no problem."  He guaranteed the workmanship and offered sound advice, i.e., not to include a sump pump at this point since the outside work would likely solve the problem.
While $4000 might seem high for  2 days work, the operation was substantial and impressive, as were the skills of the crew.  They worked hard and efficiently - excellent work ethic.  They did everything as promised, plus took out an old shrub (with permission) in order to create a better drain route, and leveled an odd hump in the yard that indirectly effected drainage. Everything was cleaned up and finished with topsoil and grass seed.  They returned on a later date to address an issue with a walkway slab, no problem.  We are happy with the results.  For the first time since living here, the basement hasn't flooded during heavy rains.  Our drainage issues seem to be solved - money well spent.

Dave Tice, his crew and I met before I went to work and they were punctual. We discussed what I wanted done with the hedge

and asked him on the fly if he could schedule me for a weed whacking and Dave said that the guys could probably get it done while they were there. I told him if not, then bill me for the extra time. He said that he would come by later and he'd let me know. There was no extra charge.

I came home later on in the day from work and was very pleased with the hedge control and the weed whacking. Steve and Jorge (the crew) did a great job. They did a great job of cleaning up the yard and left it much better then they found it. I couldn't be more pleased and told Dave so. We also scheduled a gutter cleaning for later on this year. I highly recommend Tice Lawn Maintenance.

They are also pretty reasonable with regards to when they come out and do the lawn for you in a different kind each time and one of them can really do that. They were really fair. I don;t think I have to call them back for anything but I can tell you that my yard looks awesome. It looks a lot better than some of the neighbors."
