His crew did one day of prep work consisting of digging out crumbled/cracked areas and edging the entire 300' driveway. They removed several trees, pruned the trees and bushes I wanted to keep, and planted a couple dozen new trees, bushes, and other plants. "It took 6 weeks to get the appt after buying the "deal". I asked on the phone if it would be a good idea to remove old caulk around tub ahead of time ( so cleaning could cover all tile surface) . I was told it would, so I removed caulk. A miscommunication I suppose. Upon arrival it was explained that they use a pressure washer. Not only would tub surround need to be caulked but the perimeter of the room where tile surface meets floor would need caulk too. Options were to caulk myself and re-book appt. , sign a waiver accepting any water damage, or pay $125 to caulk and they could finish the job all at once. I decided to let them caulk. They didn't have the materials or tools to caulk so one went to Home Depot while one started cleaning. I was told the cleaning chemicals in the caulk gap didn't need to dry before caulking, hope that's true!  Anyway, not a great start, but okay.
I hoped the finish product would have been better but that was just okay too.  Grout color didn't really look much different after the cleaning. Fat bright white caulk line up the wall of the tub surround (that was previously grouted) looked terrible against the gray tile. I spoke up and he said he'd remove it and replace it with clear caulk. Unfortunately that didn't work out so one tub wall has white and one has clear caulk. Also some floors are white and some are clear.  Toilet got caulked too and I wish it hadn't because we are replacing it soon. Sealant that was wiped over grout left clear schwissy haze marks all over the tile. I had to wipe off EVERY single tile to remove the haze. Caulk residue on tub needs to be scraped off. A little mud on floors and tub was left behind. Really nice people but end result did not meet my expectations."

"We are extremely pleased with the work of Earth Friendly Services overall.  How the space looks now really exceeds what our expectation was for the end result.  Our basement space was pretty much a mess and posed a number of remodeling challenges, including a very uneven floor surface, moving of the gas meter, support poles in weird places, multiple water valves and other items that require access.  Yet with how it looks now, you'd never know it was such a mess to begin with.  Both of the lead guys for the company, Steve and Bill, were good listeners and were patient with our questions and our issues as things came up when they were doing the work.  Both of them had good attention to detail and worked to get to what we wanted, rather than what would have been easiest for them.  For example, we asked them to use a type of drop-ceiling tile they'd not worked with before, and they got it done, with the result being a fantastic-looking, modern ceiling, rather than the industrial look most weird spaces end up using.  There was no down-time during the project, as someone (usually several people) was/were down in the basement working every day, resulting in their finishing the job exactly in the timeframe that they said they would (originally they said it would take three to three-and-a-half weeks, and they were done in three weeks and three days).  There was none of that "Hey, this is going to cost a little more than we said it would" or any of the nightmare stories you hear from other people getting their basements finished.  It cost exactly what they said it would up-front.  Further, their total cost was $8K lower than the closest bid we received for the same job!  It sounds crazy to say this, but these days it feels like an oddity when contractors do exactly what they say they are going to do for exactly what they say it's going to cost, but that is exactly what happened in our experience with Earth Friendly.  This is the company you want to go with if you are on a budget yet nonetheless expect a quality product and a professional contractor with a solid work ethic."

"We interviewed a number of contractors for this big project. We needed the foundation completely redone in half of our house due to water damage, rotting floor joists, and extensive mold damage. Evol was the only contractor who wanted to do things properly and officially by working with the county on getting permits even though it would be a much more time-consuming process for him. He was honest with us about our options and never pressured us into taking a more expensive route. In one room of our house, we ended up pouring concrete instead of rebuilding the wooden floor joists because Evol was worried the same type of water damage would continue to happen to us over the years if we elected to go with wooden joists again. Most of the other contractors we spoke with didnâ t want to give us a concrete option because they knew it would be a more time-consuming endeavor for them. We are very happy now that we went with the concrete option. Evol communicated with my husband and me throughout the entirety of the project and answered all of our questions promptly. When we moved back into the house he gave us ample opportunity to inspect everything and notify him of anything that needed fixing. The concrete crew ended up getting concrete on a set of our vertical blinds that couldnâ t be remedied. Evol fixed this by allowing us to select a brand new set for installation on his dime. We are very happy with the work that was done for us and are glad that we chose Ejale Group for the job."
