"The project went very well. The crew arrived ahead of schedule and went right to work preparing the area with protective tarps and ground cover. There are many flower gardens around the house and they made sure they were protected. The roof was stripped and all trash was thrown into a trash receptacle. Once the roof was stripped, the crew began reroofing. The entire house was reroofed by mid afternoon. I was very satisfied with the crew and the quality of the work performed. I would Extreme Exteriors for any home improvement project. I would give them a A Plus rating."

"The team that executed the project was punctual and knowledgeable and they mostly stick to what the sales guy has promised. However, there was one last-minute change: they claimed it would take too long to remove the siding and apply the dense-pack insulation on second floor walls from the outside, making it impossible to finish the project in just one day. The alternative was to drill holes from the inside to apply the insulation, which I approved. They cover the holes when the finished, but it didn't look good (see the picture I attached). They run a blower door test before and the result was 4,175 cfm50. After the finishing, they did the test again and the result was 2,850 cfm50 (31.7% of improvement). They applied with Consumer's Energy and DTE for rebates and I could get back a significant amount of what I invested on this project."

He was careful to remove his shoes and place drop cloths to avoid making our house messy. He brushed out the fllue, inspected it's operation, and gave us several tips for maintenance. He had anthoer gentleman with him who looked at our exterior chimney. It was complete within 30 minutes. "From the day Mac came to our house to explain options and clarify the process and price, we were sold and convinced that using All-Weather Seal was the best option to meet our needs.  Even after the initial order we requested a few minor changes and he was very accommodating.  In fact, as we placed the order over Labor Day Weekend, he even came to my work place to pick up the check we made and finish all details for the order.  After we finished the order when we finalized changes, Mac came back to my office to sign the contract again with requested changes.  He always accommodated our needs and our work and after-work schedules of my wife and me.  Just about the time we were going to call All-Weather Seal about the installation of the windows, sure enough Mac called again and let me know I would  be hearing from the installers about setting up a date/day/time to do the work.  One of the staff came to do one final measurement of all the windows and within a few days the installers came to our home on a Saturday to remove our old windows and install the new ones.  They were on time and prompt in their arrival.  They were respectful of our home and took care to make sure everything was done properly with the installation throughout the day.  As they worked they cleaned up what was not needed any more, then left the area in front of our home spotless as if they had never been there and the new windows had always been in place.  We were totally impressed with the entire process, the price and the work ethic, honesty and workmanship of all involved.  While we did not have a budget to do ALL the windows at this time for our entire house, we would contact All-Weather Seal in a minute if and when we are interested or able to install other windows or doors in our home.

"We chose SureGuard even though we had better quotes from other companies because we were sold on promise that work would be completed by their crews and supervised by their foreman daily. We loved the idea of hiring a local business that uses their own crews. It was obvious once work began that SureGuard was subcontracting work to other companies, and they did not send their foreman with these crews. The paint crew arrived and didn’t seem to have a complete picture of the work to be performed. They were difficult to communicate with and we had questions about the quality of their workmanship. I ended up having to place calls with their office to address my concern. To SureGuards credit, they did send out someone the following morning and my concerns were addressed. The work did turn out ok in the end, however the process was stressful. Had we known they were going to sub out the work we would have gone with the other bids. I got a 20 year warranty on workman ship and 50 year warranty on shingles, the warranty can be transferred to the next person who buys your home. They have to be trained for roofing jobs and there is a foreman overseeing the work. They completed the work in 1 day! They also kept in touch with me through the process to make sure everything was okay. I recommended them to my church as well! They also have AAA rating with the Better Business Bureau."

"I used HomeAdvisor and found two companies to come give me quotes to repair a leak in my half bath. Kanga Roof and Atex. Kanga came first and they sent a sales person (charging $50 for a roof inspection and quote) who told me he would have a hard time finding the leak point without an attic to check in. The sales person said I needed a new roof and he could only warranty a repair for 1 year and it would cost upwards of $2500. They came back the next day with a sales pitch for a new roof ranging from $9k to $12k. Mind you my home is small at 1300 sq ft and a low pitch basic roof. Maybe they use better materials. The pitch was done professionally. Next Atex came, they were prompt, courteous, and good with communication. They sent a project manager who inspected my roof pretty quickly (for free) and said he wouldn’t need an attic to figure it out (he actually had practical roofing experience). He found the area, let me know why they would do and showed me pictures they took. He said they could fix it for $1,200 with a 4 year warranty and told me I could get close to 10 more years out of my roof and in no way should consider replacing it yet. I appreciated Atex’s honesty here. They were booked about two weeks out. They quoted me on a Thursday and finished a Friday job early and called and said they could come that Saturday. They were here and gone in about 3 or so hours and showed me the before during and after photos again too. I highly recommend Atex!"
