"We had intermittent drain issues with our kitchen drain for years. I was able to clear it with a snake that attaches to a drill....until I couldn't. Mr. Downs to the rescue! He was prompt polite and got all the grease and gunk out of that drain and line. The people that built the house must have poured a lot of grease down the drain. A few years have gone by and it's still working great. Then an unnamed member of the family flushed something down the toilet. I gave Mr. Downs a call and he walked me through some basics and with his advice I was able to get it out myself. I tried to send him $20 via VenMo as a thank you for helping me over the phone since it didn't require a service call but he wouldn't accept it. He is a solid guy. "My toilet was bubbling so I called A Cap Plumbing. He arrived in the time that was given. By then the tub was also backing up and he said that my sewer line had a blockage. He showed me the price for cleaning the sewer line. I thought it was a good price so I said to go ahead. He used a machine to clear the line and showed me the roots that were growing in the line. He recommended that we think about replacing the line soon since it has a hole in it. Everything is working great now. I will call again because he was polite and I thought the pricing was fair. I also liked getting the price first instead of hourly like previous plumbers have done."
