"We contacted California Smartscape to give us an estimate on redoing our front and back yards. They had been destroyed by putting a pool in and by a large tree in the front yard that damaged the hardscape. We spoke at length to Richard and Nick about our budget and our ideas for the yard. The proposal they came back with was within our budget and had all the elements we wanted. We were pleasantly surprised because we had contacted others and their proposals were way above budget and did not have the elements we wanted. The crews that came out to do the work were wonderful. They were professional, considerate and respectful. Steve was a great project manager who attended to things as they came up during the work. Ruben was a good crew supervisor. He had a good relationship with his workers. Now that our project is complete, we couldn’t be happier. The whole yard has been transformed into a natural landscape with easy to care for low water plants, low voltage LED lighting and drip irrigation. We even have a small artificial grass lawn in back! If you need landscape work, this is the company I would recommend."

"The concrete and gate install went relatively quickly. The patio cover required permits which took some time. Once received, the patio went up quick and the planter brick repair was also quick. Overall a good partnership that I will hire again."

"General Construction They just finished with our kitchen expansion and remodel project, and
just completed our pool and backyard remodel....everything looks fantastic!! Our kids are tickled pink about the pool, BUT, Regev also designed a secluded area in the back behind the pool with a jacuzzi...., however, I just wanted to share how wonderful Regev is. They really listened to what we wanted, what works for us, and pretty much our hopes and dreams for the project. They brought our visions to life!  General Construction is an amazing company! Their project managers are so knowledgeable they are borderline geniuses, their designers are creative beyond my imagination and the office staff are more pleasant ! It was just a wonderful experience, not to mention the quality of the work they did and their excellent prices...that was the cherry on top! They were very flexible with any changes I wanted to make and always had time to answer my questions. He came up with a plan to fit my budget and there were no unexpected extra costs. "We initially hired them to do a complete bathroom remodel and also added some other things such as installing recessed lights in one of the bedrooms and den, and replacing some windows in the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. We first met with Shay from Precise Home Builders and we liked the pictures, especially the tile work, and his description of the work. His bid was not the cheapest compared to other companies but it sounded like they knew what they were doing so we hired them. Overall, the project got done but it was a hassle from beginning to end. They initially promised it would take 5 weeks (also written in the contract), but it took 8 weeks instead. Communication was very difficult although Shay was responsive. However each day we would find something that would need to be fixed or redone and had to point it out. For example, if we left it up to them, the door to the bathroom would open directly against the sink, and we would not have a medicine cabinet installed which we really wanted. They wanted to charge extra to demo the door frame just to change the swing direction of the door, so we had someone else do it. We also had bought a medicine cabinet which they told us they could not install recessed because of a pipe in the wall and they didn't tell us that until halfway through the project. After much debate, they finally agreed to surface mount it. They were finally able to install it. The shower niche was also not centered in relation to the window so had to be redone. There were many other small imperfections such as gaps in the paint, gaps in the grout left unfinished, and dry wall that had to be fixed along the way. We felt that many things were not done right the first time, and they had to be go back and fix them. Although the project was finished and the bathroom looks nice, there were still several things that we noticed that had to be fixed. The toilet was not secured to the ground and wobbles back and forth when sitting down. The air vent in the ceiling was found to be loose. Thankfully, they came back and were able to fix everything without any questions. The owner, Moshe, also got involved to address our previously complaints with the experience. I’d say overall the end product and the customer service were satisfactory."
