"Quite a few years ago, Artie renovated our bathroom.  Not only did he do a super job, but he made so many helpful suggestions along the way making decision making much easier.  For example, he suggested the type of tub to install and ones to avoid.  He helped us order merchandise and we were able to get a contractor's discount! 
     Recently we wanted to add a stone grilling station and a gazebo to our yard.  Everything I shopped for, I did not like or it was way over priced.....Artie sat with me and helped design a BEAUTIFUL, river rock-blue slate grilling station.  Once again, he directed me where to get the grill, type of grill, what to avoid and what would look best.  He takes the time to listen and know exactly what the customer is looking for.  He made everything by hand and the result shows....We get so many compliments from it!  He is currently completing a Tiki Hut Bar/Gazebo........when it came to ordering the tiki hut straw for the roof, Artie took it upon himself to google information online and forward me what he had found.....this made it so much easier on my part!  The bar came out great!!!
     Not only is Artie extremely talented, but he is so easy to work with, is very professional,responsible and shows up for a job when he says he will.....when do you ever get that?????  I HIGHLY recommend Artie Derosa!!"

"id like to thank Ty Salazar and Nick his project manager for such a great job!!, The were always on time, they never said no to anything i asked or they advised me if it wasn't a good idea. They did the following for me. 1. The demoed my stair case foyer and sheet rocked and Spackle primed. 2. Installed new lighting throughout 3. sanded my staircase. and resealed it 4. they built a beautiful sound studio for me, total gut renovation. they framed out the whole area applied beautiful porcelain wood floors and sound insulation. 5. they applied a whole new roof on my brownstone in one day!! and they made repairs to damaged areas caused by water leakage 6. The install a new central AC system and Johan was great. 7. Ty designed a custom closet system for my wife and had it installed, well thoughout use of the space!! Listen, these guys were Dynamite!!!! The are responsible !!! And if they cant make it work they let you know Ty was available at all times of the days even on Sundays which i was surprised, I was skeptical with any contractor but Ty is so personable and friendly you cant help but love his attitude. Im hiring him now to do my bathroom renovation and install a new entry door in my home. Ty gets it done period. Id like to give a shout out to his men they were great oh by the way my bed got delivered when i was on vacation, Ty got in his van drove to my house and put it in his van since they delivered to the front door and left it there."

"We have nothing but praises for the work AJ and his crew performed on our house and we plan on working with them on future projects. They performed a gut renovation of our main family bathroom, a complete basement renovation, and updated our living room built-ins and ceiling. The outcome of each project exceeded our expectations. Working with the AJ was a great experience. He is extremely down to earth and personable. We were impressed with the transparency on each of his estimates, all of which included itemized costs. This transparency was something we weren't accustomed to in other bids that we had received, which typically had a magic number at the end, and left you wondering what the heck costs that much? With AJ, we saw how it came together, and that was very important to us. The work the crew performed was very high end. The new family bathroom came out amazing. Truly high end, custom woodwork throughout, if you showed me a picture of this bathroom a year ago I would not have believed it would be in my house. Our basement, which prior to the renovation was an absolute dump where people expressed fear in visiting, turned into our favorite room in the house. They built a laundry room, full bathroom and a family room. All the rooms received custom built-ins, which we designed together along the way. It isn't fair to call it a basement any longer, it has become the addition on the lower level. Reflecting back over these projects, I think what left the most favorable sentiment was how AJ treated each project like they were taking place in his own house. We knew our projects were smaller in scale then what Hampton Bays typically worked on, but it didn't feel that way to us. To us, these projects were tremendous, and AJ treated them as such. AJ demonstrated to us throughout that he wanted us to be 100% satisfied, and he worked very hard to make that happen. Hampton Bay has our endorsement 100%!!"

"This was the best transformation for a small dated bathroom. The existing bathroom had been partially updated, but had a clawfoot tub that was original to the house and a small dated shower behind the door which was not usable. This was a complete gut job including all floors, walls and ceiling. The transformation was amazing to watch. The staff was meticulous with the attention to detail regarding all aspects of the project including how neat and tidy they were when working and coming in and out of the house. "I have had conversations with friends and family over the years who are also homeowners, and we all agreed finding a reliable contractor is not the easiest task to accomplish. Dan from Island Homecraft is the exception to the rule. We hired Dan and his wonderful crew to renovate our 30 year old bathroom. Personally, I do not like the inconvenience associated with home renovation work. This was not the case with Island Homecraft. From start to finish Dan's crew did their utmost to make sure there was as minimal amount of the usual debris and mess associated with this type of work. Dan made it clear during our first meeting that he coordinates the work with his crew, would come by each day and review the previous days work, and let us know what to expect the following day. Dan made suggestions on changes we should make and listened to our suggestions on what we were looking for.
