"Quite a few years ago, Artie renovated our bathroom.  Not only did he do a super job, but he made so many helpful suggestions along the way making decision making much easier.  For example, he suggested the type of tub to install and ones to avoid.  He helped us order merchandise and we were able to get a contractor's discount! 
     Recently we wanted to add a stone grilling station and a gazebo to our yard.  Everything I shopped for, I did not like or it was way over priced.....Artie sat with me and helped design a BEAUTIFUL, river rock-blue slate grilling station.  Once again, he directed me where to get the grill, type of grill, what to avoid and what would look best.  He takes the time to listen and know exactly what the customer is looking for.  He made everything by hand and the result shows....We get so many compliments from it!  He is currently completing a Tiki Hut Bar/Gazebo........when it came to ordering the tiki hut straw for the roof, Artie took it upon himself to google information online and forward me what he had found.....this made it so much easier on my part!  The bar came out great!!!
     Not only is Artie extremely talented, but he is so easy to work with, is very professional,responsible and shows up for a job when he says he will.....when do you ever get that?????  I HIGHLY recommend Artie Derosa!!"

"We hired On The Level based on reviews in AngiesList. Ty Salazar is a nice guy and a great kitchen designer, but the fact that he was over an hour late to our initial meeting with him should have tipped us off. The quality of the work was excellent, and his people were always responsive to our requests and questions. It's the scheduling and timing that I had big problems with. We had timed the project so that it would get done over the summer and that we'd have a functionally working kitchen by Labor Day, after which the kids would be back in school. I worked very hard to ensure that all of the materials were ordered and delivered before they were needed. But Ty seemed to loose touch with the project around the middle of the summer, and that's when things went south. We went away for two weeks at the end of the summer, expecting to have a functional kitchen when we got back. When we returned, the kitchen was definitely not done. Not not only that but Ty invoiced me for the final payment, apparently without understanding that it wasn't finished. We did not have a working kitchen until late September, and the final cosmetics took a few weeks after that. The last piece was a shelf for a corner base cabinet, which took until the following January to be done correctly (after two failed attempts). I think part of the problem was that we had to get permits for the electrical and plumbing work, and the licensed electrician and plumber were both "prima donnas" who didn't come when they were supposed to, left the site without finishing the job, etc. Yet at several points in the project I asked for a schedule and was never given one, instead merely repeatedly assured that the project would be done on schedule (which it wasn't). We do seriously love the kitchen. Again, quality was never less than excellent. But the schedule problems went far beyond the usual 1-2 weeks late that you expect for projects like this."

"Dan and All of his guys were great! From start to finish - Dan walked us through the process, explained every detail, and presented us with very reasonable prices. During the whole job - Dan was always available to answer any question or concern that we had, and he always made sure that we were comfortable and happy throughout the job - even when some unexpected issues came up with the extra pipes in our ceiling. He is very trustworthy, knowledgeable, and transparent - which made the process of not having our kitchen available that much easier to deal with. Even with some of the unexpected issues that came up - Dan managed to keep the job within the time limit that he promised us. I would definitely hire Dan again in a heart beat!"

AJ’s staff was very courteous and did excellent work, always responding to any questions as they came up and addressing any concerns. The end result was outstanding and we are very happy with our choice to use Hampton Bay Construction. We have used many contractors in the past and had a much more positive experience with Hampton Bay than others we have used. We plan to use them again on future projects."
