"Best Buy gets high marks for its in-home delivery and installation, so long as you have purchased the product in their local store and arranged for delivery and installation while still in the store. LOW marks for dealing with the 866 number given on this website if you just want some work done with existing devices in your home. It's a number from a national call center, not a local one. I was routed through several people and put on hold numerous times while they took info, set up a scheduled time, got my payment info. Every step seemed to require a different representative. When I was finally finished, I was sent two e-mails - one which had subscribed me to their marketing e-mails (which I did NOT request) and another confirming my order which advised me to check the status of the order. When I did, I was informed that I would need to re-schedule the date they'd come to the house. Say WHAT?? I had scheduled less than 30 minutes before! I called the 866 number back and canceled everything, asking them to reverse the charge. Never again. If you need something done, go directly to the store - or call another business in the area that does on-site work."
