"We chose to use Glen Painting & Contracting because when Nick came to our home for an unrushed walk through he listened and responded to our concerns in a thoughtful, professional manner.  He offered suggestions, took time to explain how he would go about doing the job, and since we were attempting to match wall colors, what some pitfalls might be and how he would go about dealing with them.  He pointed out that entire walls didn't need to be painted unless when the areas of concern were done we weren't pleased.

I had the opportunity to meet four of Nick's workers over the course of the job and can honestly say I was very impressed.  The team was friendly, hard-working, accommodating, competent, prompt, courteous and clean!!!!  As a senior citizen I can say this is the first paint job in my lifetime where I didn't need to hire a clean-up company after the job was completed.  Without being asked one team member adjusted all the loose handles in the renovated shower and actually cleaned all the switch plates prior to replacing them on the walls that had been painted.  He even offered to hang the pictures back on the walls when they were dry.  Where partial walls were painted around the alarm pads my concerns disappeared.  The paint blended beautifully.

Throughout the process any questions or concerns sent by e-mail or phone were always responded to promptly and to my satisfaction.  Nick is truly a perfectionist and even when I didn't notice an area of the front door that was not to his satisfaction he took a picture of it and within a few days two of the team members came to fix it.  He even took the time to note the paint colors on his final bill, which will be a great help for future work.  By most standards I guess ours would be considered a small job, yet it never felt that way since attention to detail was evident at every step along the way. 

My husband and I are truly pleased with the job done by Glen Painting & Contracting and can say, without hesitation, we will definitely use them again!!!!

"We met with the owner, Tom Hemmerle to do a walk through and discuss the project.  We were looking for someone who could complete the project in a timely manner within a specific timeframe.  We live in Manhattan and have to be sensitive to our neighbours with regards to construction debris and general access in and out of the building.  Tom was very professional and understanding of our concerns. We hired him to do a complete remodel of the master bathroom, which had not been touched in 30 yrs. They did a phenomenal job, during all of the various stages of construction.  From the demo through to the finished materials being installed.  

After our bathroom remodel, we also hired Paragon to refinish our flooring throughout and also repaint the interior of our home.
The crew were always courteous and responsive to any of our concerns and they went above and beyond in helping us feel taken care of.

I would highly recommend Paragon, especially to anyone who faces the challenges of living in a building in NYC (without a freight elevator) and attempting a remodel within a very tight schedule.  Tom is a pro!
