"There was a scheduling mix-up where my service call was accidentally scheduled for a different day. I called the phone number and the person on the phone (I think Jamie?) apologized for the mix-up and promised to get someone out to my house today. Judd showed up around 4pm and immediately identified the cause of my problems to be a clogged main line. Unfortunately the clearing of the line wasn't as easy as expected. Judd ended up spending several hours working to make sure the line was cleared and that everything was draining properly. Job well done!"

"I was surprised, after calling other plumbers in Baldwin County, that the first positive responder was 30 minutes away in Mobile. The problem occurred  <strong>2 days</strong> <strong>before Christmas</strong>, and, unlike others, Advanced Plumbing dispatched Mr. Franklin to us within a few minutes. When he arrived, he identified the problem (we have a somewhat complicated septic system with aerator, pump to above-grade field lines, and a 1977 main drain system), and removed the blockage (as well as explained the whys and wheres of it); and finally checked the rest of our system. All communications I had with Mr. Franklin and his dispatcher were informative, reassuring and prompt. Advance Plumbing is now at the top of my contractor list for my home and condo needs. <br />"

"Provider was contacted to fix leaking bath tub faucet. and was advised before making appointment that it needed to be replaced.  Even though this was a severe leak - provide was unavailable for two days.  Plumber arrived on time, assessed situation and stated he did not have time to replace the faucet today.  All he could do was try to fix it temporarily until a replacement could be scheduled at a later date.  After two days wait - the owner was stuck.  Quoted price of ~600 to repair leak in plumbing behind wall and repair faucet.  After attempting to fix the tub faucet, plumber admitted that he did not have proper tools and repair would most likely fail.  Sure enough - it failed in less than five minutes.  At that point, plumber said he could not repair the tub today and was going to leave the owner with a 1 GPM leak in the bathroom.  Finally - after going outside to "talk with home ofice" told me he would fix and total price would be ~1200.   As was totally stuck at almost 3PM and having had to wait two days, had no choice but to complete the repair.  He tried to make me feel better stating he "could not leave the faucet that way" and would do the replacement now.  And also - since I did not have to have them come back I saved a service charge.  <br /> This company is unresponsive and way to expensive.  Frankly - unethical to charge for failed repair.  And alot of time was totally wasted trying to fix something that needed to be replaced.  No on should have to pay for a failed repair, particularly when the repair requested was replacement.  Also - promised followup for further work estimate requested at time was never provided.  Provider warranties their work but I guess failed repairs don't come under the warranty. <br /> I have to say the plumber was nice enough.  He is just an employee trying to do a good job.  Problem has to be with office / company management..  <br />"
