New Paradigm Companies has been offering grading and drainage solutions, earthworks services, and construction services in the Fox Valley since 2020. New Paradigm Companies (NPC), was founded by a tenured environmental and building professional with over 15 years experience who had a dream to create a firm that addressed building performance and sustainability needs in the construction and earthworks industry in order to provide sound scientific solutions to improve our homes and land. The idea of "New Paradigm" came about as our desire to change the thought process in the home building industry as well as how we look at and manage our habitats and land. The term "paradigm" is essentially a deep ceded thought process (think of the term, "This is the way we always do that"). That statement essentially encompasses a "paradigm" or a set of values or ethos that we have. "I'd give zero stars if I could. Called to get a drip fixed and was told it'd be about a week out, which we decided we could live with. Since this is an active drip, we've been managing by using a bucket and turning the main water valve off when not needing to use water. ON THE DAY OF OUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, they called and said unfortunately another job was running over and they needed to reschedule our service. I figured it'd be the next day or at most 2 days... Nope, they told me it'd be 10 more days before I could be fit in due to their other commercial jobs that they can't change. Had I known I'd be cancelled on day of I could have had a half dozen other plumbers come out. If they can't reliably serve residential customers, then they should be honest or don't schedule them. If you're looking for residential work, DON'T TRUST the scheduling department of this place."

After Phil came to our home for an estimate on the lawn after hearing we were getting 2 puppies & also needed a chain link fence we had an urgency.Phil gave us a fair estimate he was on time and finished on time. Phil & crew did an excellent job and was very respectful to our property. I would highly recommend EBK Equipment for any lawn & fencing needs. 5/5 stars"

The mission of His Workmanship is to glorify God by displaying the gospel through speedy communication and quick scheduling. We are an online booking agency which facilitates the provision of labor services by matching Christian college providers with homeowners.
"I have an invasive weed Garlic Mustard that suddenly appeared in April and also the common buck thorn in my back trees. I was told I had to pay cash and they would not take a check. They would also not come to do any estimate on how many guys and hours I would need to do the job; I had to guess. I ended up having them come two times: first 4 guys for 8 hours; second time 2 guys for 4 hours (per the guess of the first leader for how long and what I'd need the second time). They still did not complete the job. The first crew of guys were better than the second crew of guys. They were college guys, some working hard, some walking and working slowly and on their phones. However, I'm suffering cancer and could not take care of the job, thus had to get someone to control the spread. Thankfully, they did get most of the job done for me. Whether the Garlic Mustard was pulled out by the root, time will tell. The first crew used shovels and got the buck thorn pulled out pretty good; the second crew just cut the buck thorn off. Although I had informed Eric Pfeffer about the invasive weed and explained how it would spread on boots and tools, procedures were followed by some of the guys and not by others. They did not seem to be familiar with working with an invasive weed. Both crews arrived on time, but stopped work 45 min before end time to pick up tools, but also both left the job site (unfinished) a good 20-30 minutes early. Eric communicated via email pretty good after the initial "canned" email response. In their survey, they ask to rate the guys - if you expect this, they need to have their names on their shirts or give you their names. I am unsure, I may or may not hire again."
