"The owner of Appleton Drain & Sewer called and asked if he could come earlier than the original appointment time. He asked me questions to be sure of all the problems I was having. He did the repairs and when he was finished he showed me with a camera the work he preformed on the interior of the pipes that were cleaned out and clog free. He cleaned the work area and removed all the tools and machine. I was given the bill when he finished and the amount he quoted me was spot on. No surprises and very reasonable. Since I have owned my home I had 3 other companies that have done the same work. From now on Appleton Drain & Sewer will be the company I will call and I will let my neighbors know what a great job they did."

"He ran his camera down and couldn't see anything. So he made an assumption on what the problem was. He wanted to dig up our basement floor and our yard all the way to the street to replace the old pipe with PVC. As he kept adding things he wanted to do the price kept rising, up to a few thousand dollars. Our neighbors had told us the previous owners had already replaced the pipe, and with the price tag rising, we opted not to go with his services. The backup ceased on its own, so I assume there was just a clog that worked its way free. But we had to pay $350 for him to come and look down there with his camera and take a bit of extra cement away from around a drain so he could see better. While we won't rule out hiring him again, he is likely not the first person we will call in the future. <br />"
