"?Daryl and Brackettry LLC didn?t just complete a project, they completely changed my home and exceeded every expectation I had. Finding a contractor who actually shows up, communicates, cares about quality, and treats your home with respect is rare enough. Finding one who does all of that and delivers incredible results is even rarer. ?From now on, Brackettry LLC will be my go-to company for any and all work on my house, and I will recommend them to everyone I know. If you?re looking for a contractor who is honest, hardworking, detail-oriented, communicative, fairly priced, and actually enjoyable to work with, look no further. ?Thank you Daryl and the entire Brackettry team for an incredible job. My house looks amazing."

"Project Management Issues & Pending Renovation Work. I 100% agree with one of the previous reviews and, unfortunately, am experiencing the same issues that have caused unnecessary delays and frustration. While the quality of work itself is good, the project management leaves much to be desired. My bathroom renovation started on December 1st, 2025, with a promised completion time of two weeks. It has now been almost a month, and the project is still not finished. I would admit that I am responsible for one week delay in replacing a bathtub. Throughout this process, I have received little to no communication ? no daily updates and not even consistent weekly updates ? regarding the timeline or the scope of work being completed. This lack of communication from the project manager, Orkhan, has caused unnecessary delays and frustration. Coordinating with both the crew and management has been extremely difficult, and the project manager?s attitude has at times been rude and unprofessional. "

"We write this review as a sigh of relief now that our renovation project with River View is finally complete. The quality of the final work is excellent, and the construction crew, architect, and county inspector were all great to work with. The original crew we worked with, led by Edwin, were so hardworking, friendly, thorough, and fast. That's what really pushed us from 2 to 3 stars. However, the process getting here was frustrating and unnecessarily chaotic. Timeline & Communication Issues: Initial promise: We were clear that the renovation had to allow us to live in our home during construction and be completed before Christmas. Early communication: Our original project manager, Cris, was personable, and early communication seemed fine, if a bit informal and sometimes inappropriately personal. Major miscommunication: Near the holidays, we discovered that the plans submitted included cutting into the roof — something we explicitly said we didn’t want. This contradicted verbal assurances and caused major last-minute changes. Project Management Failures: Poor planning and oversight: Cris and the architect’s plan didn’t align with the construction work. We had to get involved directly with the county to fix errors. Paperwork errors: Incorrect submissions to the county added delays and confusion, which we had to monitor ourselves. Last-minute scramble: We were cleaning up dust on Christmas Eve due to these planning failures. Personnel Turnover & Lack of Handoff: Cris leaves the company: No proper handover to James, the new PM, who was unfamiliar with our project. Crew replaced: The original crew, who were great, were gone; new crew had no context or direction. James leaves: Another handoff with no context — the third PM had no idea about our project or its outstanding items. Escalation mishandled: When we raised our concerns with Kyle, the CEO, the response felt dismissive, with no accountability for the previous missteps. In summary, it's a beautiful end result... but we’re glad it’s over. The process left us frustrated, confused, and frankly, exhausted."

"We recently had the pleasure of working with Kelemer Windows for the replacement of five windows and a patio door, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we placed our order, the process was smooth and efficient, lasting eight weeks between the order and installation dates. What truly set Kelemer Windows apart was the personal touch they brought to the table. On installation day, one of the owners (Joe) showed up with thoughtful gifts for us, a gesture that speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. It's these small yet significant details that make supporting small businesses like Kelemer Windows so rewarding. In a world dominated by large corporations, it's refreshing to encounter a company that values its customers on such a personal level. Moreover, the quality of their workmanship was impeccable, and the cost was very reasonable, especially considering the level of service we received. We were so impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail that we've already decided to return to Kelemer Windows for the replacement of our remaining windows. For anyone in the Washington, DC region in need of new windows, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Kelemer Brothers a try. Their great rates, excellent service, and personal approach truly set them apart from the competition. Thank you, Kelemer Windows, for exceeding our expectations and transforming our home with your exceptional craftsmanship."

"It went very well! I needed the drain line extended for about 10 feet after the job was completed. Barry Gladstone, the owner, came out on the next business day and completed the work at no extra charge. I waited for 2 years to write this review to test the drainage system over 2 complete weather cycles. After all of this time, everything is still working very well. I highly recommend Mr. Gladstone and the Outdoor Connection Inc for outside drainage system work."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Forest Hill, MD

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
