"I'm very thankful I called Ace Ventura pest and wildlife control. I knew I was hearing something scratching in my bedroom closet, I just didn't know what it was nor how bad it was. Ace Ventura came out and found rats eating through my ducting, wires and insulation. Rick was great he took pictures and showed me what was going on as I was too afraid to go up there. He gave me much needed relief when he closed up the very large holes they chewed. His team also cleaned out my whole entire attic and replaced with brand new insulation, fixed my ducting and wires. "5 Stars! Class act! True professionals! We have a large home that had been invaded by bats. And when I say invaded, I mean a nasty, smelly, wall and roof damaging invasion. Our whole house smelled like cats had peed all over for years. It was the bat urine and guano in our walls and roof! If I sat in the most damaged rooms for too long, my eyes would literally burn and water. I started down the route that most would called an exterminator. Nope, they don't handle bats. After some searching on Google, I found some local contractors who advertised bat work and said they could handle the job. During my search I also found Western Bat Specialists, and I am so glad I did. I called them, and they patiently educated me about bats. I learned that because bats are a protected species, there is a season and a very specific process for removing them and then correcting the damage they leave behind. I quickly realized that this was not a one man type of job. The entire team at WBS worked diligently with me for months as we worked with the insurance company, conducted exclusion work, submitted reports, met with insurance adjusters for inspection after inspection. They were always happy to take my call, answer all my questions (and I had A LOT of questions!), and schedule work to my convenience. They arrived on time every time, worked for 10 to 12 hours a day to keep their promise of completing the job in 3 days, communicated with me throughout the entire process and treated me and our home with respect. They tore out walls, replaced sheet rock, repainted and even happily took on extra projects I kept adding to the list. Our home is now bat free and smells clean and fresh! I cannot say enough good things about the entire team at Western Bat Specialists. From the ladies at the corporate office who were in constant communication with me on the phone and email, to the foreman and his crew who did the physical work at our house. Stellar human beings! "I had seen the advertisement for All Pest Pros in several Angie's List brochure.  The pictures were disgusting and I had a horrible feeling that they could have been taken in my attic. I put it off for over a year, but kept hearing noises in my attic and actually heard the sound of feet in a bedroom wall.  The noises of activity of some kind always were present when I went to bed each night.  I hired another company to check the attic and close some of the blatantly open holes that we thought would eliminate the problem.  They put traps in the garage, but I continued to hear suspicious noises at night.  Another advertising brochure came in the mail a couple weeks ago with the same advertisement that runs in Angie's List brochure.  I surrendered and gave All Pest Pros a call.  We scheduled an appointment and today Anthony Gordon came out.  He inspected from top to bottom and took lots of pictures.  He said he could smell urine when he came to the front door (just what a homeowner longs to hear). After the inspection, he gave me a bid to replace all the old insulation, clear out trash left by previous workmen and cover all the holes that allow rodents access.  I wasn't looking to spend money on that, but I could deny the problem no longer.  We set up a date for all the work to be completed on September 25.
I must compliment Anthony.  I so respect someone who is an expert in his field and I believe that he is.  He was thorough and explained everything he was doing, why and what he found.  He was considerate of my home, wore gloves, took off his shoes.  He couldn't have been more professional. Besides being professional, he is very kind.  I am grateful the company sent him as my inspector.
I will follow up after the work is completed, but I wanted to give my impressions after this first visit.  I have used one other company to try to eliminate the infestation, but it wasn't successful.  I am feeling very positive based on my experience with All Pest Pros and Anthony.
