"I had Mack at Tabernacle remove a maple tree and dig out the stump and roots. He and his crew were prompt, efficient and responsive to all my questions. I was so pleased that I called on them for a second, much larger job involving demo/removal of an old, cracked patio, regrading the area and building me a terrific new patio and seating wall. Mack and I met twice to brainstorm; he sent me photos of the pavers he suggested using and he was most amenable to keeping my budget in mind and thinking about my overall project in stages. He and the guys moved and replanted some roses and hydrangeas, took down a smallish tree and cleaned up several overgrown areas. Building the patio required them to remove a piece of my fence so they could get their equipment in and out. They were respectful of my neighbors (I constantly had trucks parked in front of my house), they cleaned up the site every day before they left and they were careful to prop up the fence panel so my silly dog wouldn't wriggle out and gallop around the neighborhood. I am delighted with Mack and the crew's work -- and with their friendly, gentlemanly manners. I wholeheartedly recommend Tabernacle, and I will call them for the next phase of my backyard project."

"Gary and his team of men showed up on the Fourth of July on one of the hottest days of the year. They were friendly and professional. They climbed trees, sawed and chipped limbs for a day and a half. When they were done the trees look gorgeous, the yard is immaculate and we couldn’t be happier. "Paid $200 to Angie's List for $400 of tree trimming services. Didn't hear anything from the company for nearly 2 weeks so I called them. They said that they did not receive notification of my payment to Angie's List or my contact information. They quoted me a cost of $700. + the $400 credit from Angie's List. My actual out of pocket cost was $900. I don't have the time to shop around for work such as this so I agreed to the cost. I had these same trees trimmed by another company a few years back for less than $700. Certainly it was not an $1,100 job which is what it cost me if Angie's $400 deal is considered as it should be. The work done was Okay I guess. Three of the trees appear to be a bit butchered but they will grow back I assume. The prior company that trimmed these same trees did a better job. I was not home when the work was completed. I was waiting on a statement from them to pay the remaining $700. I owed them. Less than 2 weeks after the work was done I get a call at work from them wanting their $700. Apparently they had my contact information after all. Their representative actually came to my place of employment that same day to pick up a check! Bottom line is the supposed $400. deal from Angie's List did nothing for me in terms of my cost for this project. I'm very confident I could have gotten the job done for less than the $900 out of pocket that I paid had I taken the time to get some other bids."

"I was very protective of how much limbing had to be done. We had some sick branches up high and we were concerned about loosing the tree altogether at some point. Jesse kept assureing me that it would fill back in and it would be ok. Only time will tell on that account, at this time I am confindent he knows that it will. All and all good experince.

"The work went well and was speedy.  The owner used about a five to seven man crew.  He used a lift crane to cut branches down and lowered them with ropes to his team.  His team used used a powerful wood chipper to handle the branches and saws to cut limbs into manageable sizes.  They also hauled away the trunk of the tree on a flatbed truck.  
Clean Up: They laid plywood under their equipment that was on our grass to keep the grass from being damaged.  They also swept up the street and grabbed lose debris that was in our yard from the tree. 
Sidenote: The tree was about three feet from our home so I was especially concerned about roof damage but the crew took great care not to damage our house.

"This was new construction. We were happy with the grading, however not happy with the preparation for seed. In our yard a large amount of rock and debris was left post-construction. Rather than prep for grading by removing the rock and debris, the yard was graded and the rock and debris left. We were concerned about rock and debris damaging mowers and being discharged as projectiles damaging windows. We ended up hiring another service who used a landscape rake attachment on a bobcat to remove rock and debris, prepare the lawn, fertilize and reseed.
