Also, the owner and supervisors were great to talk to and meet with, to plan and coordinate the job. We got the whole project from planning, permitting ,rain delays and installation, done in about a months time!! Bottom line: They showed up to WORK and got the job done!!! "This job did not go as smoothly as I had hoped. When we got our estimate, we spoke about widening a walkway for improved wheelchair access. It was included in the estimate. When the workers arrived, they removed a 3 foot wide walkway and were preparing to put down the pavers. They readily began to widen the path when I mentioned it, but then they realized that sprinkler heads would have to moved. (This was discussed during the estimate.) This led to a delay. One sprinkler head was broken and completely buried, the other was broken below the surface. They were apparently broken by the skid steer that they used to remove the old concrete path. That same skid steer also took a chunk of concrete out of gutter. They also placed a dumpster in the street without putting any wood under the wheels. This created divots in the street which my HOA demanded be fixed. I called Advanced Pavers and Orion ultimately came back and fixed everything, but it took a lot of time because of broken appointments and created a lot of frustration. Overall, I am grading them as Fair because I'm not sure that the pavers that were undermined due to the broken sprinklers were adequately re-compacted after the sprinkler repair. The end result looks good right now, but time will tell. I really don't like paying for professional installation and being left with doubt about the end result."

Our stamped concrete driveway and walkway were revitalized from a washed out bland red (almost pink) to an attractive antique natural gray brick appearance and removed the old concrete curbing which adds greatly to the street appeal of our home.  “Timing is everything”, so it is said.  Rodney(sp?) and his brother Wayne showed up on time and as scheduled to advise us on our options, .  In less than an hour we had decided on what looked like a great plan at a great price, and they would be completed within 2 days.  We almost never make an immediate decision on any project like this, but it sounded perfect.  And it was.  I can honestly say that I have never had a better overall experience with any kind of home contracting company.  I was here to observe the entire process..  Surface Pro obviously cares, as they  were outstanding in a all regards - courteous, prompt, professional, caring, detailed, efficient, hard working, honest, prompt, knowledgeable, fair - well the list goes on.  I would highly recommend considering Surface Pro for this type of work.  Obviously time will tell how this process ages, but for now we could not be happier.
