"Men arrived on the day as promised. They took care not to damage the roof gutters while using a ladder for roof. The repairs look very professional and looks better than the  original design (flashing). Roof is about 10 years old and they were able to closely match the shingle color. I was really surprised and had to look very close to spot the difference. In a year or two, there will be no difference at all. They also installed a rubberized shield under the roof felt. Clean-up was excellent. Except for the new flashing, there was no evidence that workers had been there. I had gotten 4 cost estimates, and Capitol was very competitive. When my roof needs replacing or repairs made, Capitol will be the first I'll call for a cost estimate.

"Our roof was in very bad shape. It was leaking in 2 or 3 places and we had to reach out to someone to repair the roof. When I first spoke to Frank from Johnson's Carpentry, I felt so much relief for the whole situation. They started around 7 that morning, and completely finished the roof by 5 that afternoon. If your looking for class A roofers, this is your crew! If you have trouble reaching out to them. Just shoot me a message and I will put you through to them! 😀"

"I was upstairs and I heard a lot of noise and the house started shaking. There were cracks inside the house. I asked what happened and they said the jack slipped. After that they said everything was good, looked level. They were supposed to redo my front steps by tearing the whole thing down and reconstructing it, but they talked me into just letting them fill in the area under the stairs with concrete and they did a sloppy job as fast as he could so they could get paid and be done with the projects. Now water gets under those area he filled and goes into the foundation. The hand railing is also not secured well to the concrete and I requested the redo that. I realized after they were done that the house was not level by the garage door. They hired a person to install a new door and he had real trouble getting the old one taken down and then had trouble with the install as well. The crew did not clean up after themselves at all. My niece and I spent 5 hours cleaning up all the bricks and concrete. One day they left my front door open and my house was filled with concrete dust everywhere. I called them several times to ask them to come out and look at the spot above the garage that was still sagging. They would tell me they were going to come out once they get more work in the area, but never came. A few months ago he said I never complained or called him. He still hasn't been out here to look at the house and I don't think he's planning on it. The last time we talked he said he was going to call before he came out but I haven't heard from him. I was responsible for repairing the drywall crack on the interior, but was assured there wouldn't be many, however, there are huge cracks all over the house."

"The work crew arrived on time, and, over approximately 3 days, removed the old roof, replaced damaged decking, replaced flashing, and put down deck felt, and repaired a damaged soffit.  The new roofing was the style and color I requested.  What I was equally impressed with was the clean up!

"They did a very good job with the roof and the addition that came off the house and covered the deck. The only reason I gave them a B rating for quality instead of an A has to do with the finishing touches on the addition. All around the house the soffit fascia is covered in white sheet metal. When they finished the addition, which follows the roof line of the back of the house. They left it with bare, untreated wood. They don't use treated lumber because it reacts with the metal roofing and some corrosion may result. That's fine, but they should have at least covered it so that it tied in with the rest of the roof line. As we did our final inspection, I asked about the wood being treated and he explained why they don't use it. I said " so I guess I'll have to cover it?" He said that I would. I was leaving town on business in a couple days and had a lot going on, so I guess I just didn't think to put my foot down and insist they do it. Here in Mobile, Alabama we are the wettest city in the nation. We get more annual rainfall than Seattle, and it's humid. Wood rot happens.I went and bought some Thompson's Water Seal, and some sheet metal and took care of it myself. I have some pictures, but I don't see how to post them on this review page. The workers were very polite and cleaned up very well each day.

"The roof replacement is fantastic, couldn’t be happier. It was done in a day. Crew also trimmed branches away from trees that overhung the roof. Financing was through Alabama Power, a great alternative for my situation, also handled by the vendor. I would definitely recommend."

"Brittany and her husband helped us with cleaning, painting, and some repair work. They did an amazing job and I would absolutely recommend them without any hesitation. They were fast, honest, and very thorough. They gave us before and after photos and communicated with us throughout the project. I can’t say enough good things about them!"

Spartan Metal and Roofing, LLC is a reliable and honest company specializing in all your roofing needs.

"Great Company! I would highly recommend them to do any work associated with your roof. They were courteous, efficient and highly professional. I thought for sure that they would quote me a brand new roof but after they took a look at it they gave me an estimate for only the damaged portion. In one day they fixed my problem and saved me thousands of dollars. In addition, they installed Hardie siding and a new front entry door."
