"Garret provided a fast quote for my project which was very reasonably priced. He took time to answer my questions with fast turnaround for responses. His availability was also very quick, and I wanted my project done as soon as possible to meet other deadlines. Garret and Larry showed up on time and were very courteous and professional, and respectful of my property in their prep work and during the concrete pour. They both answered my questions and explained the project details, along with follow-up that was required. I highly recommend Northwest Concrete Cutting for anyone needing a concrete pour."

"Bruce from Shoreline Concrete was one of the few people to respond to my request for a quote for a relatively small project. He came out to see the site within a couple of days and gave me a verbal quote that ended up being the minium cost they would charge for any project. It was considerably lower than the other quotes I receieved. The crew that arrived to complete the project was courteous and on-time. They explained each step of the project to me. Throughout the process Bruce was very responsive to my e-mails and answered all of my questions. We are happy with the results and would hire this company again."

FAQs for concrete delivery projects in Fort-lawton, WA

The amount of concrete you need varies by project. One 80lb bag covers an area of about 2 square feet, for a slab 4 inches thick. Two 60lb bags of concrete cover an area of about 2 square feet for a slab that is 6 inches thick.

A truckload of concrete can usually hold a maximum of 10 cubic yards.

The cost of concrete per cubic yard depends on which brand you purchase, but usually costs about $110 for bags.

It takes about 41 bags of concrete to fill a cubic yard. Always plan to buy a few bags more than the exact required amount in case of mistakes.

To calculate the amount of concrete you need for a slab, you should find the cubic yardage of the area you will be filling. Just follow these steps:

  1. Measure the area in feet.

  2. Multiply length by width, and then by thickness.

  3. Divide the resulting number by 27 to find cubic yards.
