"WOW these guys are GREAT!!! They showed up when promised and did an amazing job. I had an issue with an area that they painted. He said they used a new product from Sherwin Williams and would be out to look at the areas of concern. They showed up with the Sherwin Williams representative and agreed the product didn't perform as promised. Sherwin Williams compensated True Brothers and True Brothers not only fixed the issue - instead of painting the areas of concern, they used epoxy which is about double the cost and twice as much work. I am so pleased with these guys and would absolutely hire them again."

"Armando was the first person to contact me about the job we requested through Angi. Armando is very knowledgeable as was his painting crew. Great customer service which now a days is non existent! They were all very respectful of our home & kept every area they worked in covered to protect from splatter & spills. They all took great pride in the service they provided us. Armando checked in with us daily to answer any questions we may have and to make sure we were happy with the work being done. I highly recommend Vargas Painting. They will be the company we call for all future painting we may need!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Fort Myers, FL

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
