"We were experiencing a roof leak in a 100-year-old bungalow in Tampa, FL. The roof had been replaced ~10 years old with a metal roof. I was able to isolate the leak at a vent stack but was unable to fix the leak. We contacted Classic Roofing and Construction based on a friend's recommendation late on a Friday afternoon. This was after trying unsuccessfully to get any other roofing company (we contacted 4) to even take a look. Fortunately, Classic was able to come out on a Saturday and within an hour, had identified the cause and made the necessary repairs (including replacing the vent stack boot)! We were thrilled at the responsiveness, the very reasonable $250 price (especially with short notice and weekend repair), and will hire them again in the future. "The service department came out and inspected my problem windows. One pane needs to be replaced due to lack of gas between the panes. The service technician demonstrated why one window leaked due to high pressure water on the window (greater pressure than hurricane rains.) I had one total window that had a white film on the upper portion of each panel. He blamed it on my sprinklers, which do not touch the windows. I was angry about his response because I couldn't understand how if it was caused by the sprinklers, why was it only on the upper portion and not at the middle or bottom of the window. (The window opens from bottom to top).The service tech. was able to use soap/water and a razor blade to scrap off the white film. Overall, the service tech. did a good to fair job. Hopefully, he contacted the appropriate person to get my one bad window replaced. I'm waiting to find out when they will replace the one window."
