They are mostly black racers and though they are helpful in rodent elimination I don't want them near my home, garage, doorways, lanai, etc. Alex applies a deterrent to keep them away and I feel much safer. I have a small dog that I walk many times during the day and evening and I don't want these critters near me or my pet.
