"I contacted Merrifield Garden Center to solicit ideas to manage runoff due to the slope on a portion of my property. I met with Craig Wells. We walked the property with me and offered a few ideas to remedy the wet and soggy areas of my lawn. I liked what I heard and asked Craig to provide a design proposal for my consideration; he did, I approved and we were off and running. Craig and his team installed a dry stream bed with river rock, boulders and an assortment of plants and shrubs that tolerate wet conditions. Craig and his team did a phenomenal job! They outlined the contour of the dry stream bed, dug-out the boggy sections and brought-in new soil and sod. They then added the plants and shrubs. This was a labor-intensive project requiring attention to detail. Craig partnered with me and my spouse throughout the course of the project. As the project unfolded, Craig tweaked the plan If he didn’t like the result. Any time I had a question, he responded. Today, no one would know that section of my property was once a small marshland. It looks as though the dry stream bed was always there. Job well done by Craig and the Merrifield crew."

"Metro Drainage Pros (MDP) were excellent; great discussion of corrective options, good communication for scheduling work, and great work. Installed a drainage system with a rock bed channel on top. One load of rock from a supplier was quite dirty; MDP took a lot of extra time to wash the rock before installation. My wife initially was very skeptical of how the result would look; once complete, she said it looked much better than she expected. Would definitely use again."
