"WE HAVE BEEN HAVING TROUBLES WITH OUR BATHTUB DRAINING SLOWLY AND HAD IT CLEANED OUT A FEW DIFFERENT TIMES OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS. WE CONTACTED DORSEY PLUMBING AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND PLUMBER OUT NEXT DAY AND CRAWL UNDER HOUSE AND QUOTE US PRICE TO DO THE JOB AND WE WERE NOT OBLIGATED TO HIRE THEM IF DID NOT AGREE WITH THE PRICE. THEY DID NOT CHARGE ANY SPECIAL PRICE TO GIVE QUOTE FOR WORK OR TO CRAWL UNDER HOUSE IN THE CRAWL SPACE. 



THE NEXT DAY DORSEYS PLUMBING HAD A NICE PLUMBER NAMED PAUL COME TO OUR HOUSE AND HE WAS VERY NICE AND PROFESSONAL. HE TOOK  TIME TO CRAWL UNDER HOUSE AND THEN QUOTED US A PRICE TO DO THE WORK. THE PRICE FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS WORK REPLACING THE DRAINAGE PIPE INTO THE MAIN DRAIN WAS $300. WE THOUGHT THIS SOUNDED LIKE A FAIR PRICE FOR THE JOB.



PAUL ASKED IF WE WOULD LIKE FOR HIM TO DO THE WORK TODAY AND WE SAID THAT WOULD BE GREAT IF HE WAS ABLE TO WORK THIS INTO HIS DAY. HE DID THE JOB AND WE ARE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK AND HAPPY WE FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE TO   DO THE JOB AND NOT CHARE US LARGE SUM OF MONEY  FOR THE WORK.

"There are not enough stars to rate Hudson Plumbing. Every time a plumber is called by a customer, it is viewed by the customer as an emergency. That, is also the view of Hudson Plumbing. Our issue was a 99% clog from the house to the sewer, backing up into our basement...on Easter Sunday. I called, they answered! AND they came out to try and open the line. Luck was not on my side this time. It couldn't be cleared and would need to be dug up and replaced. Chad, who also ran the work crew, took some photos and said he would have someone call the next morning to discuss the project. I got that call the next morning, discussed the project and got the ball rolling. They were able to move other projects around to start and finish my project the next day. Chad was back out with his crew the next morning. Chad ran his crew like a well oiled machine, completing the entire project in 3 hours! They worked with a sense of urgency without rushing. They ensured that each step in the process was done correctly before moving on the the next. Chad answered every question I had, explaining what was happening, how it was going to happen and WHY it needed to be done. This man knows his craft! Hudson Plumbing viewed my emergency as their emergency and made my house whole. Throughout the entire experience I was treated as family and not just a customer. Knowledge - 5 stars. Capability - 5 stars. Pricing - 5 stars. Integrety - 5 stars. Customer Service - 5 stars. You can call another plumber, but that would be just a waste of your time. "Don't dig up your city sewer! Nu Flow will come in, line your existing one at a competitive price, and you don't have to tear up your yard, patio, sidewalk, driveway, life, etc!! Thanks Nu Flow for not ruining my property like traditional digging. Great experience. I would say I plan on using them again, but not really, as I don't plan on having sewer issues any more. They provided me with a quote on a Wednesday, I paid Friday, they completed the job the following Tuesday. Could not be happier."

"It was great at first! But you don't understand how good work is until it's been done for about a year. There are a couple things that I really drive me nuts about the work performed:
- the drywall isn't even so the baseboards and crown modeling has gaps that we have to keep caulking
- there are strings that are coming off the carpet
- you can see a gap in the padding under the carpet
- the cords in the back of the TV are coming from a drilled hole, they didn't put a plate over it (didn't notice this until long after work was done)
- the light switch plates aren't flat on the wall
- the door knob of the door they installed is already coming off (cheap!)
- there are waves in the ceiling where the drywall didn't match up straight
A couple of these things we had them come back out and look at but after it's complete, there is little that can be done. Because there is a flood, insurance paid for portion but we chose to upgrade a lot since our basement was old in the first place. Since we weren't a high paying job, clearly we were back burner. I wish I would have paid more attention at the time the work was done but I didn't. Lesson learned and we would use someone that pays better attention to the details.
