"When the owner of Md. Curbscape came to my house to review the work to be done and give me an estimate, I was very impressed. He was very nice and listened to what I wanted done without interruption or making me feel like he had someplace better to be. His estimate was lower or compatible to the other two estimates I got. He began the work on the date we agreed. His crew removed a two-car concrete driveway, apron and sidewalk. The crew could not have been more professional and respectful of our yard and the surrounding area. When they were finished they cleaned up the street and yard like they had never been there. The work crew were not subcontractors but employees of Md. Curbscape. They worked seamlessly and meticulously to turn out a beautiful stamped concrete driveway with a broom finished sidewalk and apron. I can't say enough about the quality of workmanship and the integrity and great communications of the owner. If you are considering concrete work it would serve you well to have Md. Curbscape look at your job and give you an estimate. I highly recommend this company. I plan to use them again."

"They were quick to come to my home, discuss the project and provide an estimate. The work was completed timely as scheduled. The employees arrived promptly to complete the work, were polite and professional. We had a stamped concrete walkway done, and the final product looks great! I definitely recommend them!"

"A neighbor had some work done by 7th State and I watched their progress, so I asked the neighbor for their contact. I had a small porch replaced by a screened porch. The original porch was wood and starting to dry rot, and was slippery in rain and snow. I met with Anthony in February for an estimate and to tell him what I wanted. The County permit process and requirements for improvement went on until September -- an 8 month wait. They required me to plant trees and shrubbery simply to replace something already there, OR pay a fee to not plant trees and shrubbery. Ashley in the office helped me through this and kept me advised of the progress toward getting it started. Work began on September 10, ended mid October. Each step had to be approved by the permit office. The workmanship and finished product are outstanding. Neighbors have complimented me on the improvement. Some workers worked up until 7:00pm to finish their part of the project. I would recommend this contractor to anybody."

"Started with a basement finishing project and then moved onto another three house remodeling projects for replacing all the doors in the house, remodeling all bathrooms, and finally remodeling the kitchen. Reasonable pricing and easy to work with. Over the course of the projects there were of course some hiccups along the way (when does a home improvement project ever go smoothly?), whether it was mistakes made or if things outside of anyone's control happened (looking at you Home Depot), Ricky and his crew went out of their way to make things right."

"My sidewalk had one section that settled, and created a tripping hazard. Rather than destroy the pad, and pour a new section of concrete. I hired Stabil Solutions to use polyurethane foam technology to raise the pad. It was a perfect job, nice even walk way. The foam works fast, and fills any voids that may be under the pad. If you have a driveway section, or walk way that is not level, this is a great way to save money and time without creating a huge construction project...no messy bags of concrete. Consult Stabil Solutions."

"May, 2021. I would highly recommend Barlow Concrete. I am writing this review on my own accord; they don't know I'm posting this. After interviewing 4 contractors, I chose Barlow to make a 22"x 10' patio, front walkway, and driveway border to the property line. They gave me a very competitive price. I chose them because I felt the most comfortable with the project manager, Andrew. Andrew also gave me a construction date that was sooner than later - within 7 business days - and were quite flexible with me, as I had to work through an HOA. The crew was outstanding. Quick, efficient, and left a very remarkable product - including a solution to the driveway edging - which was to build in a curb. They taped everything off and cleaned up the area very well. This company cares. In the early evening, Andrew came by to check the work and my satisfaction with it. That rarely happens nowadays. I am tremendously pleased."

"Stephen and his crew did an outstanding job. Stephen arrived on time to look over the scope of work. He provided a detailed, clear estimate. His price was the middle of three estimates that I got. I felt very comfortable with the estimate he provided and his first impression so decided to go with his company even though he was slightly higher than the lowest price. The work was completed in one day and my driveway and walk are both fantastic. I highly recommend All Ready Finished and will certainly use them again if I ever have the need for more concrete work."

"Overall:  Gene and his crew are amazing. Extremely professional, punctual, personable, and honest. He's not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.  He's a perfectionist who understands and enjoys working on older homes.  Would strongly recommend and use again.  <br /> We own a 100 year old Craftsman home in DC.  Gene has a good understanding of how our old home was constructed and what was needed to get the job done.  Despite the large scale of our project, there were no major adjustments to our original quote.  He did an amazing job of mating the new construction (moulding, trim, etc..) with the original/old work.  He's one of those select few who takes joy in working on older homes.  <br /> Gene is a perfectionist.  He redid multiple phases of the project (at no cost) because things were not "perfect.", including: reframing, retiling and regrouting a few areas, and replacing fans that were too loud.   The end result is magazine photo worthy.  Again, you get what you pay for. <br /> They arrived every day on time, and their daily clean up was so good you could eat off the floor. His crew was very courteous. They even helped my elderly neighbor. Her glass dinning room table shattered.  They cleaned it up and fabricated a temporary table so that she had a place to eat until she got a new table. <br /> As with any project of this scale, there were a few hiccups.  Some furniture got damaged but Gene went out of his way to remedy the situation...bringing in a furniture restoration company. <br /> If you want someone who takes pride in his work, is a perfectionist, honest, and places the customer's satisfaction over his bottom line, then Gene is your guy. <br /> My 2 year old already misses him. Gene would often bring my son surprise presents.  My son's always asking "where's Gene?"  <br /> We've had many contractors work on our house.  Gene is hands down the best.  Highly recommend. <br /> My only regret in providing this review is that he will be harder to get the next time we need him. <br /> <br /> <br />"
