Remodels, Addition to Existing Structure
"We hired sonart a Construction for a bathroom addition! Their staff was more than helpful and their crew was beyond experienced! They were actually able to finish this project a lot quicker than expected. Definitely gave me a piece of mine that I didnâ t have to worry about where the crew was are getting in contact with the office. I have dealt with some pretty sketchy construction companies and contractors in the past grateful that this wasnâ t the case here!"

"Before beginning this project, we did our due diligence and interviewed many contractors. Efren Estrada was the only one to present us with plans, multiple options of how to proceed, and going through the proper channels of securing the proper permits. Being our first ever time doing remodeling, communication was always open to see what materials we liked; flooring, shower tiles, sinks, doors, etc. He was able to work within our budget and build us a great home addition (garage conversion). The only small issue and not Efren’s fault, was the time to complete the project. Getting permits, Inspection scheduling, scheduling gas to be shut and having to reschedule to turn on definitely added more time onto the project but in the end we are very pleased with how it turned out. We will definitely be doing business with him in the future."
Jonathan R. in October 2024
"They came the same day I contacted them. Started my project the next day and finished it the next day. 3 days and I had my guest bathroom tiled and ready for use. Very happy with them and will certainly call them again for any repair work that needs to be done. Everyone was polite, friendly and efficient. Arad , the project manager kept up a constant communication so I knew exactly what was happening at all times. Very pleased with Ecostar."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
