Be careful with dealing directly with the landscape contractors.  <br /> With Andrew's service I closed contract with contractor who's name is Rich on Jan. and Rich finished my backyard in three weeks. But the project was rejected by HOA because Rich attached electric box to the wall when I applied for refund of my deposit in May. It took me over one month to communicate with Rich for correcting the mistake and nothing happened. I was so disappointed and contacted with Andrew. Only one day after Andrew sent email to Rich the problem has been solved by Rich's man. Thanks God I have Andrew's services. Otherwise I can only do it by myself or sue Rich for the lost of the deposit. That will be also big trouble for me. "Great Job for the Money!!! I called about 10 landscapers and chose 3 to come out to my yard for bids. SB Landscaping came out and gave me the lowest bid and seemed the most professional. They dug holed and added sprinkler, valves, piping, timer , about 3 cubic yards of dirt, some?fertilizer?to my front and side yard. they then seeded my side yard and put sod in my front yard. They added two double king Palms all for about $2000!!! They had a crew of about 5 and got the job done in two days.?"

"In one word: Amazing! From start to finish, this was a great experience. My house is 100 years old, so I've done quite a few projects. This, without a doubt, was my best experience. I met with several landscapers before Kathy, and she was the first to listen to my ideas, then convert them into a design I loved. Her team was awesome -- I can't say enough about them. Miguel and his crew treated the project with pride; you could tell they were extremely invested in delivering a great product. I even ordered the wrong grill -- completely my fault -- which meant it wouldn't be ready before the project was completed. However Miguel drove up on a Saturday to install it at no extra charge. This is three weeks after they'd technically fulfilled their contract, but there were no questions asked. Everyone in the office was amazing, and the communication was great in terms of payment schedule, etc. And to top it off, Kyle did some great graffiti art that added the finishing touches to the project. I can't overstate how happy I am with the project and the work that was completed. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this service."

"Jay & Janus Pest Management is fantastic!   We recently moved into our 1931 spanish style home and found we had many spiders both inside & outside the house.  We picked them based on their excellent reviews and service award on Angie's list.   <br /> Jay & Janus Pest Management have truly exceeded the excellent reviews they've received on Angie's list!   <br /> We first met Jay in July of 2011.  Like other satisfied Angie's List members, I called for a quote and was happy to receive a quick response from the owner of the company Jay himself.  Jay was very personable and made himself available to meet right away the following Saturday morning since both my husband and I work.  Jay sprayed for pests (including spiders) both inside & outside our home.  Jay also inspected our home for rodents in the attic and below the house.  Jay found and removed a very old rodent carcus on his first visit.  He also indicated possible points of entry for the attic and below the house.  Jay set traps in the attic and below the house.  On his next visit, Jay removed a recently trapped rodent from below the house.  Jay and his associate Michael continued to monitor the rodent problem weekly for the next several weeks.  They diagnosed the problem and shored up the entry points with wire screens to prevent further rodents from entering.  Michael even squeezed himself into an extremely tiny crawl space in our attic to secure one of the wire screens.  Jay & Michael were extremely personable, professional, prompt (often arriving early), efficient, honest, and responsive to our needs.  They also routinely sprayed for pests especially all the various spiders we'd been finding both inside & outside our home.  It made a huge difference in our quality of life and got rid of both the spiders and rodents invading our home.  We are extremely pleased with their service and have already highly recommended them to two of our friends.  We continue to use their services to this day to maintain pest & rodent control.  We are now using them to help trap a pesky raccoon that is tearing up our lawn.  Jay, Michael, and Janus Pest Management is an excellent company that gives fantastic service and pest control while also giving you a very personal and professional experience."

"We have absolutely no complaints and are thrilled with the outcome.  Ken Bragar responded the same day to our initial phone call (even coming out to our home to meet with us on a Saturday afternoon).  New to the west coast (and SoCal in particular), we relied on and appreciated his expertise in coming up with a plan and list of plants that would work on our property and meet our HOA's requirements.  Ken was willing to make adjustments in design plans and in the positioning of the plantings as the project progressed to ensure we would be happy with the final outcome.  He also traveled far and wide to get the best plants.  His work team was hard-working, careful, professional and competent - often going beyond the call of duty, doing extra work trimming bushes and weeding whenever there was "down" time during the project.  The project was designed and completed within a short time frame and the work was done, as contracted, in 4 days.  The completed project has exceeded our expectations.  We know that come next spring/summer, we will be even more pleased when the plantings produce blooms/flowers.  We especially appreciate that Ken is willing to continue providing services and to help out with any problems/concerns that may arise in the future.  We, therefore, know that the cost for the services that were provided was money well spent. <br />"
