Get matched with top handyman for multiple small projects pros in Gainesville, VA

"Beyond my expectations! The old door was condensing inside and out, we knew there would be extensive damage to the wood framing and floor area beneath. It was worse than I expected. Mike installed the new door, created a way for our pet door to fit while still being able to LOCK the slider! Over three days - the tear out, purchasing of many materials, repairing the frame, installing the new door, repainting/restoring the interior and exterior to BETTER than they previously appeared, and rigging that new and improved pet door - he worked diligently. I have never had a workman that was so neat! Cleaning up debris, bagging trash, maintaining the work area organized and safe. I have already recommended him to friends, and they have all said how great he was! I have many other projects planned, and will not hesitate to call Home Remedies again."

"I hired DC Handyman to fix some closet doors and to do some touch-up painting and Yonatan did a great job! I've tried other handyman services in the area with little success in finding quality service and a fair price. I received both from DC Handyman, quality work at a fair price. I would definitely recommend them."

"Ronnie was great to work with! He arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently to install the deadbolt we needed, used a drop cloth to catch any potential mess, and did it all with a friendly, professional attitude, and for a great price. What more could you ask for? We look forward to hiring him again in the future."

"This is the second big project we've done with REO Service Pro. They finished our basement a few years ago. Both projects were done with quality and professionalism. Gary is very easy to work with. He listens and offers suggestions when needed or appropriate. I also used an interior designer with whom he worked with ease. We had an aggressive time frame for this project and it was met. Our two favorite things about working with Gary and his crew are 1) their quickness in responsiveness and 2) quality control. On multiple occasions I witnessed Gary instructing a crew member to "rip it out and start all over". In our experience with house projects, that is a rarity. Most contractors are okay with mediocre work to save time and effort. As a result, the end product was great. In terms of cost, they may not be your cheapest bid but they won't be your most expensive either. The investment is worth it. I highly recommend REO Service Pro."

"Very professional, very knowledgeable. I will hire again for next project."

"I contacted Toho Yin (Tyin Handyman Services) for an estimate on several handyman projects. He came the next afternoon to give us an estimate on several projects and offered to do some of the repairs while he was there. He quoted us an hourly rate and completed two repairs (repairing a wood front storm door which included re-doing the door handle/latch and replacing the closures) and also repairing a broken gate latch. He looked at another storm door that needed repair or replacement and new trim. He identified several issues he found with the existing storm door; suggested that a new door would be preferable and why; and pointed out the "problems" that would be entailed in repairing or replacing the door due to the location of our outside step railing too near the door frame. He was very frank about not wanting to quote a repair estimate because he could not estimate how much time would be involved if the railing had to be removed, etc. Toho arrived when he said he would; was very polite, very professional and very honest (which we greatly appreciated). We recommend him!"

"Gary was on-time to put a new desk together for me. Usually I can put together furniture myself, but the desk was very complicated and I needed a pro. And I got one and it was very happy with the result. Gary is very organized very thoughtful and really does go step-by-step so in the end I have a nice new desk and got it done efficiently incorrectly. The result is now I’m putting together a list of other things I need to have done around the house and will be calling Gary back to come do them. Nice guy very polite and knows what he’s doing. Highly recommend!"

"Frank is very easy to work with, does excellent work, and has very reasonable rates. I highly recommend them for any project."

"Vince is very professional, friendly, and doesnt try to take advantage of you. I had a few small jobs that needed attention to detail to repair and Vince did a magnificent job at sizing up the work and providing a solution. He was very flexible with his time, often adjusting his schedule to come in the later evenings to complete work. Once I needed to adjust the schedule due to a planned outing with my family and he was able to do so. He is a great man to get along with and he informed me of progress every step of the way through the job. He's very careful and thorough. I look forward to doing more work with Vince and as a realtor, I'm positive I will have clients who will require his services. Great job all around."

"Shout out Sheila! Her communication throughout the project was exceptional. Best price around for new fence install. Quality quality work from the Navid's Construction team. Will definitely use their services again."
