"My home is a very contemporary with asphalt shingle roof & cedar siding, however, the builder/architect incorporated a flat membrane roof at the entry that has been highly problematic (translation - prone to leakage). Low windows made proper flashing very difficult. Brian came up with a solution that involved removal of one wall of siding, the existing membrane, and the gutters, and then completely reworking the flashing and window seals prior to installation of a new roof, siding, and gutters. The installation crew was always on time, finished the job in a short amount of time, and did a fantastic job with the process and cleanup. Also, there was interior damage caused by a leaky window that was also addressed by Storm Guard. I didn't think I would get approval for the work, but with their expertise working with insurance, they made it happen. "This is a business designed for big projects, i.e., complete home renovation. I only needed a couple/few pieces of trim replaced, but at estimate time, the scope and cost increased to astronomical levels. Replacing 4 boards of trim became suggestions to replace so much more with a grand total approaching $4,000. We simply weren't a match, which I suspected and communicated to the scheduling agent at the time. They may be great, but I'll never know, as I needed a handyman-type service that would take approx. 2 hours, and they wanted to provide complete home renovation which they would get to in 12-16 weeks."
