"I had a landscaping job go wrong (because of me) that I had been putting off for months (because I had no idea what to do). Antonio came by and gave me a few ideas of what I could do. I gave him a budget and he worked with me to come up with a solution that I could afford. He showed up 2 days later as agreed and did the work in half the time I thought it would take. And it looks even better than I thought it would. Seriously. I will absolutely hire him again to tackle my next project!"

"This is the second time John has plowed this patch of land so it wasn't as involved as last year.  He and his trusty John Deere efficiently and thoroughly plowed the area and leveled it out so that, with minimal work on my part, it was ready for grass seed.

He did a great job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others."

"Robert and his crew are true professionals! From planning to design to completion, everything was SUPERIOR! The workers showed up on time every day, worked the hours they promised, and delivered what we agreed upon. Robert's designs turned our back yard into a Mediterranean oasis--it doesn't look like the same yard at all, absolutely STUNNING! The quality of the products is extraordinary! Our main concerns were low maintenance but esthetically pleasing. Robert delivered on all counts! Beautiful pavers, standing wall, plants and trees with outdoor lighting, wrought iron fence/gate, firepit, and fountain. Any time we had a question or concern, Robert always responded promptly. We were treated like valued customers. Also the project was completed timely as promised. Absolutely no complaints about this business. Northwest Outdoor Living and Landscape is one of a kind and we look forward to finishing the rest of our yard with this company. A++"

FAQs for concrete delivery projects in Gales Creek, OR

The amount of concrete you need varies by project. One 80lb bag covers an area of about 2 square feet, for a slab 4 inches thick. Two 60lb bags of concrete cover an area of about 2 square feet for a slab that is 6 inches thick.

A truckload of concrete can usually hold a maximum of 10 cubic yards.

The cost of concrete per cubic yard depends on which brand you purchase, but usually costs about $110 for bags.

It takes about 41 bags of concrete to fill a cubic yard. Always plan to buy a few bags more than the exact required amount in case of mistakes.

To calculate the amount of concrete you need for a slab, you should find the cubic yardage of the area you will be filling. Just follow these steps:

  1. Measure the area in feet.

  2. Multiply length by width, and then by thickness.

  3. Divide the resulting number by 27 to find cubic yards.
