"This experience has taught me about affluent fees. I was charged triple the typical price for the work they performed. It was my mistake for not getting other estimates, but he came highly recommended. Being charged a few dollars more but being charged triple the price (at the high end) is, to me, unethical. This must be one of the worst experiences that I have ever had working with a contractor. I am far from having that or living that life. Appearances can be deceiving. If I questioned if I was overcharged based on presumed affluence, the company's response to my concerns definitely confirmed it. I see that this company has received many 5 stars (even though many are older ratings), but my experience has been one of the worst that I have ever had, and I definitely would not recommend it based on my overall experience. Oh, I did not mention that they did not even stop the leak at first; I had to point out to them that the pipe was still leaking, and that did not fix the right section. It is a good thing I looked before they left. The leak was the main reason I called the company, not the installation. Because I trusted the person who made the recommendation, I did not do my due diligence in selecting this contractor. I did not get other quotes, and I basically threw my common sense out the window. Lessons learned: 1. Always get at least three estimates if possible. 2. Do not blindly trust someone just because they came recommended. 3. Make sure that you fully understand the work being performed and that you have explained your concerns. Ask for an itemized estimate so that you can clearly see what you are paying for (labor and materials). Of course, there are always two sides to a story; however, I hope my experience will help someone else, especially women, when deciding on a contractor."

"The gentleman that work this business go above and beyond to make the best suggestions for they work required. This is the second time I have hired them. My sub pump went after and more rain was coming they came out with 2 hours to fix the problem. Extremely professional man. I will be er use any other plumbing business other than Pohlman. "poor customer service. service manager insulted me, called me derogatory names while defaming my character. when all I was looking for was for someone to right a wrong. I was actually looking forward to them coming to look at my furnace and was hoping to find a trusted company but was given the complete opposite of what I expected. first no one called me with an update, I had to call, then no one showed by 5pm after I waited patiently all day during their 8-5 window. finally at 5:10 i reached out again only to be met with an after hours line that couldn't help me at all. once I spoke to SM, he insulted me, called me derogatory names and defamed my character all because I was understandably upset for being "brushed off" by everyone I had come into contact the entire day and given excuse after excuse with no solution that was going to benefit me. Customer service and professionalism are lacking 100%"
