"Over the past year, we interviewed a number of bathroom remodelers but had difficulty finding the one we wanted to work with. Then we met Louie from Kitchen and Bath Works, Inc. (Holbrook, NY) and we knew instantly that he was the one for us. We loved his easy going nature, his many years of experience, his ability to answer our tough questions, his no pressure demeanor, his dog friendliness, and his honesty. He also made us laugh, which is always a plus. What really stood out was his willingness to let me pick out and purchase all the components on my own – wall tile, floor tile, shower floor tile, and the plumbing. That saved us money and enabled us to customize the look exactly the way we wanted. The other remodelers we talked to tried to steer us into buying exclusively from their affiliated bath product retailers which turned us off. Except for the glass shower door which we had to wait for because it came from a separate vendor, the entire project was completed in 9 days. The results are simply stunning. I wanted a rustic Montana-style bathroom and Louie made my dream a reality. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a beautiful bathroom with so much functionality. Louie was a breeze to work with and we really appreciated his reliability and promptness each and every day. Today I used the new shower for the first time and it was amazing. I don’t think I could be any happier with the outcome. A big thank you to Louie and the team of experts he brought in to assist. The work he performed in 3 weeks was: Build a new shower/tile with a design/create a shower bench/install shower panel/tile behind the vanity with the design trim/install the vanity/move plumbing, gas and electrical for the shower and vanity with light fixture/tile the floor/install a stackable washer and dryer/build out a wall to divide the storage area and heat unit/install a sliding barn door/paint the bathroom, main room and hallway up to the kitchen door/ installed 3 windows, an air conditioner and installed recessed lighting in the bathroom/installed interlocking vinyl flooring in the storage area, main room and stairs (repaired two broken stairs and lots of extras, e.g. installed a lighting fixture in the hallway by the stair landing, a make up/shaving mirror in the bathroom, installed window treatments and assembled a 70 inch TV storage cabinet).
