"It was a disappointment. They are good people, but they were a little bit disorganized. I tried to get a kitchen design in April, and they finally had it for me in September. They bid the job way to high, and it was the best price that they could do. I'm going to pursue someone else. They are good people, they just didn't work out for me. They do the big kitchen remodels that are bank financed. I wanted to use my own cabinets. I estimated that my work with the counter tops was going to be more than $10,000 and they told me that without the counter tops it was going to be $19,000. Maybe they didn't want my job. They broke my windows, they returned them and apologized. I experienced a bunch of mistakes. I wasn't happy with them, but my circumstances may have been unique. I think they could have been more creative in the beginning. I had problems in the beginning because, they wanted to do new cabinets, and I wanted to use the cabinets that I already had. They weren't as creative as retro-fitting as I would have liked. They would tell me when they would show-up and then not show-up. I got a sense that I was going to be a job that they would fit in between jobs. I didn't have my windows framed out yet and they put my windows in before Christmas. There was a lot of dropping the ball, my job was unique. They measured precisely, they double, and triple checked their work, so their work was OK. The over-priced for my budget. They have a whole staff to support."

"Mark was punctual, and very attentive to the job. He was very knowledgeable of the old plumbing in our house that was built in the 1920s. After what he said was a struggle to get the old piping removed the new pipes went in smoothly. He was done with the job in a couple of hours. I would highly recommend him for the odd job or his specialty of carpentry!"

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"Mr Carlson has done previous interior work for me - patching a leak damaged portion of dining room ceiling and the repainting the entire dining room/living room ceiling. So I contacted him again when we were considering repainting several interior rooms. We started with the kitchen. The work took two days as the first day he did much prep work and applied two coats of new ceiling paint. The previous owners had painted the ceiling the same color as the walls which did not look appropriate at all. Two coats of ceiling white needed to be applied to cover the old color. The second day Mr. Carlson and one of his workers completed the job by painting the walls of the kitchen. This involved a lot of close cutting in work around windows and multiple door frames, etc. Mr Carlson also had his worker do some additional repair work that was needed in addition to the painting. Since Mr. Carlson's business also does handyman work, this worked was well versed in the repair work that I needed done.

Mr. Carlson noticed that the caulking along the back splash and around the sink itself was in poor condition. He redid all of this caulking at the end of his painting. There was no additional charge except for the cost of the caulk.

This is an ongoing project and Mr. Carlson will do additional rooms and hallways in the home as I schedule the work to be done. It is my choice to spread this work over a couple of months time due to my personal schedule."
