"I had used Lenny's in the past. As there was a large area that was very soggy, I thought I had a leak in the sprinkler system. Lenny's came out and evaluated the problem. It was determined that there wasn't a leak, but the heads continued to drain into one area. Lenny's replaced the sprinkler heads with ones that stopped the un expected drainage. This solved the problem."

"Johnathan and his crew are a great choice for anyone looking for more than just the "mow and blow" level of service. They take care of weeding (by hand when needed!), planting, trimming, and small-to-medium sized upgrade projects. Sometimes there is a bit of communications lag and their visits don't have a ton of advance warning. On the other hand, it's clear that lack of warning is not a big deal for us; I think if a strict schedule is important Johnathan could make it happen. The only other issue was a period where a couple key employees left and they were scrambling to meet demand. That seems like just the way it goes in this business sometimes, though. <br /> If you've got an all grass yard and just want someone to come mow every week for $20, look elsewhere. If you've got a more complicated situation and want a little bit more of a personal touch, I recommend giving them a try. <br />"

"Robert said he now only does repairs of existing systems. He was very efficient at zeroing on the various problems my existing system had, including fixing a cut electrical wire that led to one valve. He patiently found and fixed the many leaks that had been wasting gallons of water. He knew what he was doing and had the parts with him to enable a speedy repair. His prices are more than fair. This is the second time I've had him to my place, and the quality of his service remains high."

"I'm very pleased with them. I haven't received the bill yet. I'm kind of splitting it up with my son who owns the house. I do the monthly bill and he does the major stuff. It's kind of a family thing. They are just upbeat and fun to have around. They do a good job and what else could I ask for. It's a kind of a family business they have in there. They are just delightful people. I think they are very reasonable in terms of price. They have a small crew that comes out weekly. The main clean up and the design and all that they have done for me is very good. Their overall demeanor, friendliness and cheerfulness are just above all. I will use their services again in the future."

"I was very happy with the service and the quality of work.  The product that Earth Sculpt uses is exceptionally robust.  I can even make additionas and repairs myself as I add plants or move things around as most gardners do.  Would highly recommend them."

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Gaston, OR

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
