"<p>We selected Holton Bros. because they had a great reputation for the work they do.  They were definitely not the cheapest but they are the company we had the most trust in doing the job right.  We wanted to trust the contractor would do the job right and we did not want to ever have to deal with this issue again so we were willing to pay more for Holton Bros. craftsmanship.  Matt provided us with an estimate and explained everything they would do and that there were some unknowns that would need to be tackled after demolition of the old porch.  <br /> <br /> </p> <p>The guys showed up and really got after it.  They removed the old sinking cement and removed the old brick façade. Reinforced the porch area with rebar so it would not sink in the future and poured the new porch.  They put up a gorgeous new brick that all the neighbors have commented on and then poured a new cement walkway to replace an old sinking brick walk.</p> <p>The Holton Bros. crew (headed by Darwin) was very professional and really did exquisite work.  The actual invoice came in right around the estimate Matt put together despite the fact we picked out a much more expensive brick than we were replacing.  Holton Bros. did not require any money down upfront.  They sent us an invoice after all work was completed.</p> <p>We would definitely recommend Holton Bros. to neighbors, friends and family.  They do great work at a very fair price and we trusted them throughout the entire process (which is priceless) to correct the shoddy work done by the original builder.</p> <p>Big thanks to Matt L., Darwin and all the other Holton Bros. crew members that pitched in to repair our home!<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"Dale from Basement Specialists came out to the house, inspected the area and assured me there were no water issues. He checked the outside of the house and was able to describe to me what the other contractor had seen and how it could have appeared to be a water issue. Dale did not charge me for the service and rather said to give him a call if we ever had any other issues. He was professional and honest! I highly recommend Dale and Basement Specialists, Inc.!"

"All of the work was accomplished in less than 8 hours. It took about 12 hours to dry enough to walk on and another 48 hours before you could drive on it. I have found this coating to be impervious to everything. Nothing sticks to it and it doesn't stain. If it gets dirty simply wash it with mild soap and water. It doesn't fade and hasn't chipped. This is far superior to the epoxy coatings my neighbors had applied to their garage floors."

"Last year Merit Asphalt patched a 10 X 10 foot area that was in bad condition. There were areas that were raised above the rest of the driveway, and also areas that were completely worn away down to the dirt. The repair job was done perfectly. After a year it still looks perfect. I am very happy with the quality and price of the job."

"Cleaning included inspection, which revealed gaps in grout, not safe. Repair recommended, since we were close to the holidays, we did not seek competitive bids. Work done timely, workers clean and professional (rather they hadn't played the radio in the driveway, but we forbore to request otherwise). Potential for roof damage is an issue for us, they brought a cherry-picker, but it wouldn't reach; they reversed those charges, and jury-rigged a solution with padded ladders that seemed to work well: appreciate their carefulness. All-in-all, a clean, careful, professional job, despite a few glitches."
