"Our family has worked with Robert and his team multiple times since the 90s. From the first renovation in 1994, to a 2019 addition/extension to the same home, to recent work preparing to sell our rental property, Robert has been our go-to guy. His work is outstanding. His crew is hard-working, respectful, and responsible (and just really fun guys to be around!) He approaches everything with such pride, and he provides outstanding guidance all the way through. It's like working with family - Robert has really become part of ours all these years!"

"Terminix ripped of a 88 year old USAF Veteran. They were just supposed to come and do an assessment to get a quote on what the service would run. The Tech Ray Clay Jr ID# 99155 relay2terminix.com came on a rainy day and was only suppose to evaluate and give an estimate. He stood around talking for a few minutes then left. A few weeks later Ruben Longoria ID# 560615 who was the actual y inspector who should have came first showed up. I explained to him about the previous visit and that we were still wanting an estimate for the home owner. They charged $204.59 and when we called the local office we found out they were closed down with no local office. So we called to every office and regional office to let them the charge was placed with no service being done, but no one wanted to help. We never agreed on a continued plan due to the bad service, but they tried to request a second payment even after informing them that we did not want to use them. And now they filed a claim and a credit company is seeking payment . STAY AWAY if they will do this to a 88 year old woman, who else??"

"I was thrilled with my experience with ADLD from start to finish. From the beginning, they treated me fairly and proposed a straightforward solution to my drainage problem instead of trying to upsell unnecessary work like other companies did. Their fair treatment, high-quality work, good communication, and hassle-free follow-through on everything they committed to meant a lot to me—especially as a single woman who has sometimes experienced companies trying to take advantage of the situation. I truly appreciated their honesty and professionalism. My backyard now has the drainage solution I needed and looks beautiful! I never expected that fixing a drainage issue would transform the space so much. The rock selections they recommended was beautiful and the team installing them are true artists — their craftsmanship turned my backyard into a new highlight of my home! I cannot recommend ADLD highly enough. Thanks for everyone there for the great work and experience. "

"Nick and the gang at Red Beard far exceeded my expectations for this project!! The went above and beyond to ensure everything was done as described during the initial estimate meeting and then went above and beyond in several areas. They were easy to work with and treated my yard as if it was their own. I would not only highly recommend them for others, I am already putting together a list for another project and can't wait to have them back out."

FAQs for foundation, basement or crawlspace waterproofing / encapsulation projects in Georgetown, TX

The most affordable way to waterproof your basement is with interior methods like waterproof paint, costing between $1 and $8 per square foot, or silicate concrete sealers priced at $4 to $6 per square foot. However, these solutions are only suitable for certain issues. If your basement moisture is due to more serious problems like a cracked foundation, you'll need more extensive (and costly) repairs.

Absolutely! Waterproofing your basement is a smart investment that can increase your home's value. By keeping your basement dry and free of moisture problems, you protect your home's structural integrity and make it more appealing to potential buyers. Plus, taking proactive measures now can prevent costly water damage repairs down the line.

The time required to waterproof a basement depends on the selected method. Some approaches to interior waterproofing, like paint or sealant, can be completed within a day. Installing new drains or weeping tiles will need at least two to three days of labor. Any forms of exterior waterproofing that require you to excavate land will require an additional three days of work to prepare the ground.

Yes, basement waterproofing can significantly increase your home's value. A dry, leak-free basement is a strong selling point for potential buyers, enhancing your property's desirability and market price. Investing in professional waterproofing not only protects your home's structural integrity but also ensures a healthier living environment by preventing mold and mildew growth.

Waterproofing both the interior and exterior of your basement offers the best protection against moisture. Exterior waterproofing stops water from penetrating your foundation, while interior methods manage any moisture that does enter. If you must choose one, exterior waterproofing is generally more effective, as it prevents water from reaching your home's interior in the first place.
