I also used John Krause for a repair to my shed from water damage again Daniel and his partner did an excellent job for me. Very please with Daniel and his work. "Ed with E&R Home Solutions was very easy to work with. All of the staff is professional. Inspection and proposal was completed in a timely manner. New roof was installed on date promised. They worked very hard to complete it within one-day, working into the late evening. Clean-up was okay, we do still find nails occasionally (work was completed approx. 2 months ago). I'm sure they did the best they could given the late time and poor lighting. Overall we are very happy with the work and will hire them again in the future if needed. "Mark and his crew did an amazing job. Some highlights: 1) Mark's proposal was the most reasonable of the three we received. 2) Mark provided some design options and suggested we go to the local stone store to be sure we got what we wanted. We appreciated his suggestions as well as his respect for our choices. 3) Mark's crew was always courteous and thorough. They also cleaned up each day and happily hosed down our neighbor's driveway per his request. 4) A few times throughout the process we had new ideas to which Mark provided his advice and updated cost estimates. For an additional $850 we were able to add more value to the final product. All told, Mark and his team built four retaining walls, installed a patio under our deck, installed a landing pad outside our pool (with the extra pavers from the deck project), installed a paver walkway between our under-deck patio and the pool, regraded the yard, seeded and strawed the yard, and replanted some perennials that were displaced in the regrading. 5) Mark always kept us updated on progress - particularly important in this rainy spring."

"Jeff provided us a reasonable estimate and a plan to fix the issue. The quote was provided in March but he did not get to the work until the middle of the summer. Jeff's work did not fix the problem and simply made the yard worse. He created very dramatic ditches in the yard that fed to a catch basin. The catch basin and the ditches now hold standing water. Because it was late in the summer, the grass did not grow even with routine watering so the yard is even more of a mud pit. I did not expect the grass would grow but Jeff insisted the heat did not matter. We tried to talk to Jeff after the fact but he simply said it was due to the high amount of rain. While there is no doubt the rain made matters worse, Jeff's fix has been a complete waste of money. If he did not think he could fix it, then he should of been up front about that fact. Instead he simply took out money, tore up our yard, and then said there was nothing he could do. We are now paying to have another contractor to remove Jeff's work including the ridiculous ditches and then install a solution that will actually work. Avoid Jeff and dja landscaping."
