"They were great. Mary and Max came out to our home one evening and sketched out a complete design for the lighting of our front yard. We requested this both for aesthetic and safety reasons (outdoor steps that could easily lead to falls). They worked with us for about three hours and completed a comprehensive plan to accomplish these objectives. A couple of months later they came out and implemented the plan. My wife and I are absolutely delighted. Both objectives were masterfully satisfied. The front of the house is beautifully but very subtly highlighted. The pavers and stairways are easy to identify. "It was a pleasure to work with Britescape for our home exterior lighting design and installation. Everything went extremely smoothly, and the staff was very professional. The price overall was a bit high, but the professionalism, high quality products and excellent service made it worthwhile. I worked with Robert to design the plan for our house. He had great ideas and worked with me to adjust as necessary to fit within my budget. The team of 3 that installed the lighting took great care to not disturb our existing landscaping, removed the old lighting and cleaned up everything when they left. Our project was mostly installed in one day, but they had me review what it looked like at night, and then came back the next morning to complete the job and make any adjustments. I would highly recommend them!"

"Igor arrived on time, assessed lighting needs, went to purchase lights, and returned directly to install.  The installation is great and we like the new lights.  The only comment I have would be that I would have liked the option to go purchase the lights myself, rather than paying electrician rates for the time it took him to go buy them. <br />"

"Paul was fantastic to work with. We bought a 1970’s home that had been fully remodeled in 2010 and unfortunately the HVAC went out 8 months later. After we had our HVAC replaced, the heated floors stopped working. The HVAC electrician came back out to see if they’d done something to indirectly cause this issue, and after pulling the heated floor relay off the wall, discovered the wiring wasn’t up to code (and could have started a fire at any time since it’s installation 7 years ago.) I contacted Paul from Dependable Electric via email with a description of our problem, some photos, and information on the make/model of our two heated floor thermostats and relay. He researched the equipment and consulted with me over the phone. He suggested replacing the hardware, but was up front that he wouldn’t know if that was the issue, or the full scope of the issue, until he saw it in person for himself. An in-person consultation cost money, so I chose to schedule him to come out for a repair and purchased the $350 replacement thermostats/relay myself (they were returnable), and had them on hand when Paul came in mid Dec. 2017. It turned out the hardware did need replacing (the old ones had lasted much longer than typical). Paul called the thermostat/relay manufacturer several times to ask clarifying questions about the product to make sure he did everything correctly. Unexpected issues arose as well once he had a look behind the scenes, so to speak, included fixing the wiring (had to cut open a small bit of drywall to get to it) and electrical panel circuit work due to it not being completed to manufacturer specs for the amount of heated floor we have when originally installed. He was straightforward about the issues, the costs, came prepared, and was very efficient. Paul was able to finish everything in one day even though the job doubled in scope once we discovered the less obvious issues. He explained all possible options, outcomes, and cost impacts as we went along, and arranged to have the inspector come out within the next 1-2 weeks. No issues were identified by the inspector, the permit was issued, and no further repairs have been required. I was home all day during the repair and my husband met Paul as he was wrapping things up at the end of the day. My husband works in commercial construction (estimator), and was very satisfied with Paul’s knowledge, thoroughness, and straightforwardness when Paul brought him up to speed on everything that had been done. I would definitely call Paul again, or refer to him to a friend. More telling, is that my hard-to-impress husband would also call Paul up again if/when we need an electrician in the future."

The work is honestly beautiful and it was done for the price they quoted me. The lights in my concrete steps are perfect and light up the whole front entrance. "Once I did review this company quite highly--ironically, because they stood behind their work and if there were any problems, they would make it right. (See my review of 4-27-18). But recently things seem to have fallen apart. The pavers along the edges of the large patio they installed have become loose, and many have popped off. The pavers just inside the border stones has sunk a quarter to a half inch all along the length of one side. I have had regular responses to my queries for repairs, but always the same: The owner is in Florida on another project, and promises to "get to it next month". This has been happening now since summer. I would prefer he just get someone out here to fix things, and be done with it. The company is licensed and bonded, but I hope I don't have to resort to that. The next step is the BBB and whatever resolution I can get through Angie's List, but I can't wait much longer for promised redress that never comes. I hate to have to do this, but I strongly believe that a company needs to keep the promises implicit in their contracts with customers. For now, I cannot recommend this company . (Update) To this company's credit, they have in the last week sent a crew out to do the repairs I've been asking for. As of today, they are 90% finished. Super late response, but at least they are honoring their commitment to stand by their work. That counts for a lot."

"System Pavers put in a new patio for us. We love the new outdoor look. They took up our old concrete and created a design that fits our backyard. They also took out our steps and replaced them with blocks and pavers with a light package. The entire process was very professional from the sales person to the installation. We asked them to come back and redo a mitered corner of the steps. They came back and fixed it more to our liking."

"The technician did a wonderful job. He was able to install a junction box up in the ceiling that was missing, he cut the sheet rock perfectly and did a flawless install of the new LED light. He also inspected 2-3 outlets which were replaced and replaced a breaker switch in my panel all for the one price. I want to have the same company come and install a separate breaker for my micro wave."
