He came out within a couple of hours, diagnosed the problem (complete electrical meltdown), and arranged to install a new, upgraded furnace on Monday morning. He also replaced the thermostat and the humidifier controller, both of which had fried along with the furnace. Les was prompt and professional, and was a good communicator -- he explained and showed me everything he was doing. Overall, Les was very responsive, easy to work with, helped us keep costs down despite all that needed to be replaced. He left the work area very clean, removed all the old equipment, and even filled out the warranty information for us. I appreciated how quickly and efficiently he handled our emergency, and we are very pleased with the new furnace. I would definitely use Les again for any HVAC needs!"

He returned my call by 9:00am and set an appointment time between 11:00am and 1:00pm. He arrived on time. He tested several parts of the fridge and explained that the problem was with the defroster thermometer. Went to purchase the new part and replaced it. I was so pleased that he actually returned my call in a timely manner, arrived at the appointed time, and explained exactly why the fridge wasn't working. He was friendly and the price was very fair. "I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"
