"Toth Roofing did a wonderful job. Steve Toth is professional, knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. We needed someone who knows how to do slate roofing and he was highly recommended to us by a neighbor. In fact, our neighbors on both sides recommended him - he has repaired and maintained a slate roof for one neighbor and completely replaced an asphalt roof for the other neighbor.  Steve's crew was excellent. They arrived on schedule every day, knew exactly what they were doing, and cleaned up the job site perfectly. It was a pleasure to have them on site. We had the option to replace our small porch roofs on the back of the house with slate or asphalt and Steve gave us the pros and cons of each. We elected to go with asphalt for ease of maintenance more than anything else and he helped us choose a product that we would be happy with. They also repaired the rotted sections of the porch roofs after the tear-off and before nailing on the new shingles. The porch roofs look great as does the entire slate roof. We feel the price was fair based on the the work being performed, the time they spent doing it right, and the quality of the work. We had to wait a bit to get the main work done, but Steve had his crew stop out and address an issue with a leaking gutter before that since it was fairly urgent to us.  I will be calling Toth Roofing again to maintain my slate roof and to schedule two other projects-siding for a large dormer and an attic vent that needs repair.  I would highly recommend them to anyone.

"After our ceiling fell down from a leak in the roof, we had to find someone who could fix the giant hole in the living room as if it never happened, which proved very tricky since the ceiling was plaster with a special type of texturing. After searching high and low for top notch plasterers, we found Bob's number and gave him a call. Bob came out quickly and was able to put our mind at ease about making the repairs and gave a great timeline and quote for getting the work done. When the work was done, we truly couldn't tell there was ever a hole in the ceiling! Bob and his team did an excellent job repairing everything and matching the texture to the surrounding area, we couldn't be happier! They were all so courteous and did a great job making sure everything was covered up before they started and cleaned up so well afterwards, it was as if no one was there (and no hole)! "Was contacted fairly promptly and had appointment set up with my son for them to come look at my roof. Was called the day of the appointment that they didn't need to come because they had info about the roof (I'm unclear from what source - Google maps?). Was called that evening with price of $24000 to replace roof. I'm uncomfortable with the idea of shelling out $24000 to someone who hasn't even inspected the roof to see what condition it is in. It's possible that the roof is the original (>20 years old and therefore may be nearing end of lifespan) but I don't know that for a fact (having been in the house much shorter than that time frame). I asked for a written estimate of what they would do and their assessment of the condition - I have not received anything. I think I will need to obtain a roof inspection first and perhaps from an independent company."

"Zach is a hardworking and honest contractor. He replaced some leaking skylights, and repaired a section of roof that was leaking around another. He and his crew put in more than a full days work staying late to finish the job. His price was very fair and I would definitely hire him again. Of note, he also knows his limitations and did not attempt to work on a larger flat roof and gave me some recommendations for someone to call for that. Much better than working on it and having a bad outcome down the road. I appreciated this honesty."
