"If you want to hire a contractor that keeps your money (multiple $K) and didnâ t get the job done, this is the one to hire. We hires Trent to build the sunroom. After he presented the plan and we placed a deposit of $5000 to get the job started. He had an architect come to our course drawing the blueprint but we requested changes. In the meanwhile, we have engaged Trent for other small scale projects, such as adding a wall or adding rails to our porch. We paid all the projects in full after the projects are done. However, the main project on sunroom hasnâ t made any progress for over 8 months. Our request to the change of the drawing hasnâ t been addressed in a concrete manner. Understanding that Trent might have busy schedule and we didnâ t want to wait for any longer. We kindly requested to cancel the project, refund is $5000-minus the drawing fee. He agreed to refund in his initial text but then unresponsive for our calls and texts. However, he also didnâ t move forward with our project. So, essentially we paid $5000, got a semi-finished blueprint and waited for over a year and nothing was done. His argument was this $5000 was baked into the cost of other projects but we have separate quotes for other projects from him and weâ ve paid in full. After we have read other review about failing to refund $2000, it seems a consistent pattern. Please address it ASAP before we bring it to the next level!!"

My wife spent 10 minutes talking to them, they stated they had no business cards, they only had an appointment card but didn't present it. "Hi On 08/15 the salesperson (James) came to my house to speak to be about Aspen home improvement. He was very nice, polite and very professional. I like his presentation including information about the company having great customer service. I also spoke to the manager (David Diller) that day and he seemed like a nice person. I choose this company because of his presentation and the customer service review. There were two other companies that came from Angie’s list that had a cheaper quote but I wasn't impressed with their presentation. Both of the other two companies were $500-$1,000 cheaper than Aspen. My appointment for roof replacement was scheduled for 08/26/2019 and 08/27 and they changed to 08/30 because it rained one day in the previous week. When I spoke to the person and I mention that it was changed from two to one day, she said that the manager review and said that it would take one day. She also states that if it wasn’t done they would finish it on the next day (Saturday). When I got home from work at 4 pm on Friday ( 08/30/2019) they had removed all roof but they only added shingles to the top of the house (The porch and Sunroom weren’t done). About an hour or so later they were all packing up to leave and not a single person said a word to me, so I thought that they were done. When I went out and check they still haven’t applied shingles to the porch or sunroom roof. No one called me or said anything, so I asked if they were coming back the next day and he said “no” maybe sometime next week. He also said that they didn’t have any shingle left. I had to force him to call his manager to find out when they would be coming back and he said the manager said Tuesday. It rained two times before they came back to finish it. They came back the following Thursday (09/05/2019) to finish. When I came home I notice they there were a lot of nails that came straight through the roof of both the sunroom and the porch. I also notice they did not installed the new drip edge or pipe collar as stated in the contract. Other things are not very easy to spot. The money was released to them on 09/02/2019 and they still haven’t come back to resolve these issues as of 09/10/2019. I am very disappointed in their lack of communication skills, very poor quality and lack of customer service. My next step will be to send this information to the Better Business and get the issue resolved. I paid $6,995 for this service."
