"<strong>Overview:</strong> Due to a death in the family, we had a 6000 sq ft. home full of furniture, clothing, personal items, kitchenware and vehicles that we needed to sell and/or remove in order to place the home on the market. I spoke to several estate sale companies on the phone before deciding on iStuff sellers. Darren was far and away the most astute, knowledgeable, and professional of all I interviewed. <br /> <strong>Performance:</strong> Darren and his brother Darryl never disappointed in the entire process. They turned a large estate into a store for the four days of the sale, remained there and ensured security the entire time. They accurately priced all contents, and worked with us through any questions we had. We saw their operation during the sale and it was A1. They moved a large number of buyers through the estate, and sold the majority of items. Whenever we called Darren with questions we immediately received a response. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any type of business venture, they were that good, and that trustworthy. <br /> <strong>Cost: </strong>Most sellers in this business will charge between 25% and 30% of the total taken, as did iStuff sellers, but for an Estate as large as this it was well worth it. And, for a reasonable fee, the carpets were cleaned following the sale, and all remaining items removed so we can move forward with the home sale. We received a complete listing of items sold and cost.  <br /> <br /> <br />"

"This house is a tri-level suburban house built in 1959. The basement consists of a utility room, a bathroom and a large room with two closets. The large room can be used as a den or family room, and all four walls were made of pine paneling. Two of those paneled walls were removed when the basement waterproofing was done. Parts of walls were knocked out in the space between the two adjoining closets and also in the bathroom. In order to rebuild the walls, the crew from Zero Punch List (consisting of the father, his daughter and son and a long-time family friend) had to construct a wooden support structure that only attached to the floor and ceiling and did not punch any holes in the waterproofing system on the walls. After that, they mounted all the materials that go into drywall on top of the wood structure. Finally, they rebuilt the walls in the closets and bathroom. All of this took six days, although they were not necessarily there for eight hours a day. Besides the walls, Mr. Hinden noted when I first met with him that the duct work of the HVAC unit was sagging noticeably from the ceiling of the utility room. I had not noticed it, but they fixed that as well, per contract. Weston Hinden, the father, is extremely personable and wants to go a good job both in terms of construction and in terms of the aesthetics. They are a little less systematic than some contractors. They may show up an hour after they say they will, but that's all right with me. I paid them as they worked and upon request. I paid $3,000 after they'd been there for two days, and then $3,400 after another two days, and finally $3,400 when they were done, but I don't think that Mr. Hinden would have minded if I'd written the first check for a little more or less than $3,000. It all worked out. I found Mr. Hinden extremely easy to get along with and am happy with the result."

My mother and I could not be more appreciative of the railing down her front steps, second bannister on the staircase, and grab bar in the shower. These things are a HUGE upgrade in her quality of life. Personally, I'm extremely grateful Red Cedar offered to pick up the materials for me; I would not have had time to do that myself. Top quality job on all fronts. I will definitely call them again in the future!"

"Adams Flooring did a fantastic job installing white oak flooring in my bedroom. Willing to service Kilmarnock and the team was on site every day at 8 am. The owner, Doug, was present and working most every day. Did everything right to assure a quality outcome - wood was delivered a week in advance to acclimate and at the completion of the project, the gloss didn’t quite match the rest of the home flooring. Full disclosure,I had requested the incorrect sheen, but Doug just added another coat and made things right. I enthusiastically recommend Adam’s Wood Flooring."
