"I couldn’t be happier with the work Mar Construction did replacing my sidewalk, carport, and driveway concrete! From start to finish, they were professional, dependable, and paid close attention to detail. The finished work looks fantastic, and the quality is exactly what I was hoping for. They did an excellent job, kept everything looking neat, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. My property looks so much better, and I really appreciate the pride they took in their work. If you’re looking for a concrete contractor who does quality work and stands behind what they do, I highly recommend Mar Construction. Outstanding job!"

"My initial contact was with Mark in late August or early September. We had arranged to meet and discuss the work that I wanted performed (pointing up the mortar on the brick chimney and under the windows on the front of the house). There were scheduling problems (for both parties) after one or two attempts and I was later contacted by Josh, who finally came out to my house in mid September to look at the job. I was impressed with Josh's knowledge, enthusiasm, and answers to my questions.
After discussing the scope of work to be performed, Josh assured me that someone would get back to me within a week with an estimate so we could schedule the job over the winter months. After a week went by, I called to see of they were working on an estimate and was assured that they "hadn't forgotten about me". After another 2 or 3 weeks, I called both Mark and Josh and left a message to see what was up as far as the estimate and scheduling.
It is now the second week in December and still I've heard nothing. I like these guys and I would like to have them perform the work, but at this point, I don't know if they are too busy or just don't want to do the work because it is not a big job. If that is the case, it would help if they would just tell me so. I hate to look elsewhere, but communication is an issue here so I may have to give up on these guys. Too bad.
I rated them as a "C" overall, with a "D" for responsiveness (or lack thereof) offset by a "B" in punctuality and professionalism
for the time when Josh did show up.

"I hired PVI Group to complete the removal and reinstallation of deteriorating concrete front entry steps, repair a side brick wall, and a porch that all needed to be repoured. Corey, the owner of this company, arrived on time for our designated appointment, he had a courteous demeanor, provided me with a professional and knowledgeable description of his abilities to complete my project, and listened to my suggestions. After listening to my ideas on this task, Corey was very forthcoming with suggestions and/or options his company could provide me to bring my project to fruition. I was very pleased to have met with this gentleman, who demonstrated a true passion for his craft. The job Corey and his associates completed for me was truly exceptional! All employees presented themselves to me in a manner that demonstrated their skills and experience in their field. I am very pleased with the outcome of my project and the results of the PVI Group exceeded my expectations. Thank you!"

"They hauled away trash, but I was told by the lady that came they did not take construction debris. The deal specifically states: "Removal of just about anything around your home, office, retail space, rental unit, warehouse, storage unit or job-site including old furniture, office equipment, boxes, construction debris, yard waste, appliances and more." They would not remove sheet rock or construction debris in contractor bags. Because I had plenty of junk to be removed they did fill up their truck. This, however, is false advertising.

"Mark and his crew did a great job adding stone to our long driveway. Mark got the right color and insured that his crew understood what I wanted done. His crew leveled the driveway wonderfully, and overall, I couldn't be happier."

"Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.
