"We signed the contract with Verengo 03/07/14 to lease the solar panels. The panels were installed on 4/10/14 and the team was very professional and quick. A few concrete tiles were broken during the installation but they were replaced the next day. There was a code problem that arose when the City came to inspect but again it was corrected (at no cost to us). Everything was approved at the second inspection. "We did a total remodel of my husband's family home.   It took over six months.  Our next door neighbor is Andre Johnson who is starting up his own solar panel installation out of his home.  He has been in the business for  years, but felt now was the time for him to start his own business.  After we moved in, we talked to him about solar installation...we got some other bids, but his was still the best.  He and his son did the installation, then we called the city for the inspector to come out. <br /> This is why I am writing this review.  With the total remodel, we had a lot of city inspections, and we knew how particular they are.  The inspector came out, went up on the roof for 10 or 15 minutes.  Then he told Andre he wanted to talk to us.  We thought...this can't be good.  On the contrary....the inspector wanted us to know what an outstanding job they did.  In fact, he said he had never seen such a perfect job.  He had been to two other homes for solar installation inspection prior to ours, and neither one of them passed.  He said they were done by well known, large local companies.  He said the larger companies sub-contract out the work, so you don't get the pride of ownership kind of work that we got. <br /> Andre has five different licenses on his business card.  I did check his CA license....#958114...and he is in good standing with the state of California.  One of the other licenses was his federal contracting license, and another one was with the State of California as a disabled vet. <br /> If you are looking for any kind of solar panel installation, PLEASE call Andre for a bid.  I really don't think you can find a better price, and I know you won't get a better job. <br />"

"Carlos, the owner of Energy Source Electric, came to our home as a request for an estimate to install a new electrical panel and upgrade the service from 100amp to 200amp. Within 10 minutes I knew I was going to hire him. He was very personable, professional, and it did not take but a few minutes for Carlos to explain the entire process: the approximate time frame it would take which included filing permits, approval for matters concerning SCE, panel replacement and final inspections. It went perfectly. Even the stucco repair looked fabulous upon it's completion. Carlos also has a very good working relationship with everyone involved, from SCE, to the technicians who work for him. "The young guy who did the work was prompt and professional, but not well trained. He power washed my patio BEFORE blowing the leaves and sticks off my roof, so all the debris landed on my just cleaned patio, and he didn't follow up to clean it off. <br /> He forgot to do the garage door and was all packed up when he asked me to inspect, so I just let it ride. <br /> <br /> <br />"
