Since them all faucets in the house are sputtering when using hot water -- a problem commonly associated with faulty installation of new hot water heaters. We contacted Tudi, but they refuse to come and check their installation without us payong a 100$ fee -- to check their own work! We probably should have gone with any big box store to install the water heater -- cheaper and same customer service."

"Gunner Roofing We used Gunner to replace shingles. They told us that if we upgraded the skylight to one that is solar powered we would get a tax credit of 30% of the entire job, a savings of over $2000. We weren't planning to replace the skylight but the numbers made sense. When we filed our taxes for that year we learned that the skylight they used did NOT qualify for the tax credit. They mislead us to spending an extra $2,500 on the job. When I called to complain I left a message but no one ever returned my call. This is after they didn't do a good job on the roof and it took them months to come back and fix the leaks they caused. STAY AWAY!! Show less"

"The Smart Home features they installed, such as thermostat and door locks, etc. do not always work. For example, the Honeywell thermostat can no longer be operated from our phones and is difficult to install. Remote door locks are also unpredictable."

"I was lucky enough to find David more than five years ago when some of our smart home devices started showing their age and needed to be retired and replaced with state of the art equipment. Since then, David has been my go-to person for all of our home's smart home, security and wifi needs. I've never called him about a problem that he didn't solve successfully. He is professional and above all, he is honest. When we have had to make decisions about transitioning to new equipment, he has never tried to oversell anything and he doesn't take advantage of our ignorance by over charging when it comes to all the high tech features we enjoy but don't completely understand in our home. I only wish all the household service providers I have to deal with were as professional, honest, knowledgeable and skilled in their area of expertise as David. He's simply the best."

"We hired Guardian to install our security system at our Washington, DC, business. The service and quality of the work was horrible. We had cameras and an alarm system installed; it was a relatively large system. They outsource most of the work to various vendors. They could not manage their vendors; what was supposed to take a week took two months. The sales rep did not return calls, and you could never get anyone in management on the phone. Random people would show up at unannounced times. The few things that an actual Guardian employee did were they made a huge mess of our newly remodeled office and were rude to our staff. We have offices in five markets across the US and have high security at each; we have never had such a poor experience."

"I was on the market for a security system and this one seemed easy enough to install.......went through the process and some of the window sensors were not working. I called Customer Support who was very friendly and we went through the entire process again...this time other window sensors did not work. This went on for a week or so...then the door senors stopped working....than the motion sensor stopped working...at no time in over a month did I have a fully operational security system. As I was about to return the system I was told they have "new" sensors and they just realized they received a bad batch and are working with another company.....Gave it a try....and same issue returned....some sensors worked....some didn't. I finally returned the system and stopped getting emails.....only to find that they were still billing my credit card even after I returned the equipment. Very nice people and very understanding.....unfortunately their product is not up to par. While we do have a large home, it's an open concept and the sensors that weren't working were no more than 15ft away from the base. The previous owners of my house had a wireless system with no issues at all.....I'm going to be using that company going forward."
