Of the 3 firms we contacted for an estimate, PHF was most the responsive and thorough in answering our questions and by far the most reasonably priced. PJ, one of the owners of the business, and his crew worked with us in selecting the proper materials and once they started the job showed up everyday until all the tasks were complete. In spite of my numerous interrogations as they were working. they were always ready to respond and explain what they were doing and why. And their workmanship was impeccable. PJ's desire is to keep the customer happy; and if he thought you might not like something, he would ask you to speak up and then fix it to your liking as best he could. We entered a contract which they stuck by. The price to perform the remodeling was very, very fair. During the remodeling, a structural problem was found.
