"By far the best business experience I have had in a long time. Where to start, Paul the salesman was great, he came out for a quote no hassle. Looked at the roof and quoted me quickly. I told him I had another company I was comparing to and would get back to him. No pressure tactics. Communication was consistent and clear. Booked appointment and was able to have an install date within a week! Now fast forward to the install day. Kevin is the man (I assume foreman) was at the job 45 mins before his team was supposed to get there to go over everything with me. He explained what he would be doing and if anything throughout the day changed he would not only text/call but text pictures of everything. A few pieces of plywood needed to be replaced and Boom pictures came to my phone of where and the old pieces to see the damaged ones. He kept his word all the way to the point that i had a tree company coming to quote me on taking trees down and i received text messages from Kevin that they were there in the back quoting my other job. Lastly i had an old dish on the house which i requested to come off. Not only did they take the dish off and remove the wire but the Vines that were climbing up the lines one of his guys was ripping those out and off for me. All in all i can't say how impressed i am with this team. They truly went above and beyond and when you spend a good amount of money on companies to work at your home it can make you nervous on what type of outcome it will be. I have no doubts about this company and recommend if you ever need anything roof related to please contact them for your job. "I called to get a quote to have my chimney repointed and have a cap installed. My chimney is starting to show its age. Chimney Doctors scheduled a free on sight quote at my house promptly. The day of my appointment I got out of work and when I got home I discovered a voicemail on my phone Tom had already shown up at my house earlier to do the estimate. From the sounds of the voicemail he left he had climbed up to the chimney and did a thorough inspection. I received the quote via email some time later (there had been a miscommunication via phone about my email address). In the end I did not choose to proceed with Chimney doctors because the cost of the work was higher than I was expecting to pay for this service. However I believe that their price was probably fair, I just didn't have a good understanding of ALL the work that would need to go into my Chimney to get a cap on it. Perhaps I can save up some money for next year."

The copper flashing was pulling away from around my chimney and looked like it was in need of repair or replacement. I had previously worked with another well reviewed roofing company on Angie's List that missed my scheduled appointment to examine my chimney flashing. So I was very pleased when Andrew from Gunner showed up exactly when promised, and I was quite fascinated with his use of a drone to take precise aerial photographs of the work to be performed from all angles - a rather tech savvy approach. Gunner provided a detailed estimate within hours, that was only 1/3 the cost of the estimate I ultimately received from that other roofer. Gunner Roofing completed the work on time, and did a very satisfactory job. This was a relatively modest project, but based on my experience, I hope to use Gunner Roofing when it comes time to redo my entire roof."

"Installation was well done and the installers were knowledgeable about the product. I did not care for the hearth options they had so I had a hearth stone custom cut and I installed it. Also, the quote for the chimney repairs that were needed was almost twice what was quoted by to other highly rated masons. Based on this I subcontracted the masonry work to another company."

"The job was a big one and the guys had to come quite a long distance (about sixty miles) to do it, but it was done in a timely way. Over several weeks they came every day that weather permitted until every detail of every task was finished. Don, the boss, and Andrew, the foreman, are both perfectionists. Don knew every detail of our job, explained everything about it to us, explained and resolved any problems encountered, stayed in touch either by phoning or showing up often, and when necessary pitched in in a major way. Andrew was hands-on start to finish every day and was both responsive to every question and concern we had and even often anticipated them. We were especially pleased that they took great trouble to firm up structural problems they encountered with the front porch and with the roof and the chimney and fixed them so that what had been ramshackle in the construction is now solid and built to last. Not to mention that we love the way the house now looks. "Very well. Mario and his staff were on time every day. The work was thorough and professional. He explained all the details in understandable terms and carried them out exactly. He took special care with details such as the curve of the sidewalk and the color of the bricks for the chimney - all at no extra cost. Also, at no extra cost, he trimmed a tree to get access to the chimney. Later an aborist stated that he ad done a very neat job on the tree as well  - again, all at no extra cost. <br /> Highly recommended!"
