"Cook Remodeling is the best contractor we've ever worked with ... and we've worked with a lot of them. While they were quite a bit more expensive than than the other estimates we received, we decided to give them a try because of the impression we got in our initial interviews. We are glad we made the decision and feel like the extra money was well spent. Our designer & project manager were attentive and -- very importantly -- interested in figuring out how to give us exactly what we wanted. There were unusual challenges with this job and Cook accepted these challenges. Some contractors would have simply told us we couldn't have what we wanted. Cook said they wanted to try to get it done....and they did. We saw our project manager almost every day. He called every morning to tell us what would be happening and who would be working. Each worker showed up on time (important) and -- amazingly -- made a point of introducing themselves and carefully went over what they understood their assignment to be. When we did have a problem with one subcontractor, our project manager was here immediately to find out what was wrong and he represented us to the subcontractor (it usually goes the other way around) and made sure the work was redone correctly. For the most part, we had the same 3 or 4 people working the job and they were all more than competent, caring, careful and very friendly. We are fairly demanding and picky customers but came away from this project with absolutely no complaints. We have other projects lined up and will hire Cook again. We don't need to interview any other firm."

"We had Floyd and his crew build a guest house/casita on our property. Floyd handled all the work, from the design/architecture (done by his wife Sue), getting all the concrete work done, all the carpentry, electrical, plumbing, finish work, etc. In the end we have a beautiful 1 bed room, great room and kitchenette Casita with a rooftop deck! All the work was professionally done, very clean, high quality construction. Floyd knows his stuff, or he learns it - the roof top deck was a new experience for Floyd, but he worked closely with the materials supplier to do an excellent job and get certified for future roof deck projects! All in all, we are very well please with the results! Looking for more projects to bring Floyd in on. I would highly recommend Floyd for any remodel or new construction project!"

"They did a great job on a remodel to remove some outdated architectural features around the fireplace in my daughter's family room, including removal of an architectural wall that broke up the "flow" of the house, remove built-ins and stonework that were around the fireplace that really had dated the house. The work was finished perfectly and you can't tell any rework was done. Looks like original! Also they were able to resize, enlarge and rebuild an odd shaped kitchen island, with accompanying electrical and finish work, and a beautiful job on the installation of new countertops on the island and matching countertops in the kitchen. Overall very pleased and I know my daughter is really enjoying her home so much more."
